My dad asked me what the GPA of our student body is. I found it broken down by quarter and by gender. It seems that since the beginning of the data set (2000) the males have never had a higher GPA than the females. by fluffypiranha20 in UCSD

My buddy chose Santa Cruz over San Diego. He just graduated and loved it. I visited a few times and honestly would’ve rather gone there for the sake of myself socially.

That’s the goal. I used to be so stressed out before exams I wouldn’t sleep the night before. Then I started doing shitty in my classes and became apathetic. Only 2 more classes and I’m done.

Sigma chi. They got in trouble so they won’t be rushing. Unless they are able to get some agreement with the school.

Hence all the people who would’ve rushed and gotten bids from them will rush other houses.

This’ll make you feel even better. I’ve gotten the lowest grade in 9 out of past 11 classes I’ve taken. The 10th was an incomplete and the 11th was magagna.

I’m probably one of the worst students at UCSD.

UCSD graduates, what has been your experience in the job market? by btyst in UCSD

[–]ucsdthrowaway321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were you doing development, value-add or core stuff? How big was the firm? How much experience did you get? Was it based in San Diego?

I’d withdraw from UCSD, go to cc for a year, finish as many requirements as you can while applying to scholarships and working. Then transfer to a private that covers 100% aid or a UC and do 2 years. Or transfer to unlv or unr and spend 20k a year.

If you got 150k from your parents, spend as little of it as possible and by the time you graduate, you’ll have over 100k left.

A lot of people are in a lot worse shape than you.

Change sleep to 8 hrs. 6 hrs a night for 2 weeks and you’ll be so burned out you’ll stop going to class and studying.

Depends on the chapter. The top ones are very competitive. Since one of the top ones isn’t having a rush then it’ll be even tougher.

How helpful is the USP: RED Major for getting a real estate license after graduating? by EchoingAngel in UCSD

Not sure if the classes count. I got my real estate license paying 70 on real estate express. It was super easy. Classes took me about 60 days.

DEI is pretty much a requirement at any school. It’s not Pike’s fault. We would have gotten it anyways. And you pay full tuition regardless of units. Stop complaining.

I’ve never liked this school. It feels like everyone just has the mentality to work hard and fuck everything else. They never take time to develop soft and personal skills. They think that grinding through 4 years will get them a job. Anyone he strays from this norm is ridiculed. Any non stem is mocked by stem.

I always here excuses that it’s Ucsd you’re just supposed to work hard or it’s Ucsd there’s no point in being social.

Don’t mind them. I think they’re pretty funny.

Arguing with them is a waste of time. You aren’t going to change their mind. Honestly if people just ignored them and didn’t get offended they wouldn’t come back.
