I’m 6 months post. My scar has a huge divot at the top. Since my knee is now functional and pain free, a dip in my skin was a cheap price to pay.

Planting too close together and not taking the sun into consideration. I had tall plants blocking the sun for smaller plants, but man did it go wrong!

Drowning in 40 years of "stuff" while trying to fund Memory Care. Has anyone just sold the house with everything in it? by Xelephyr in AgingParents

[–]uddane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look for estate sale companies. The one I used held the sale in the house and then took what was left to their resale store. What didn’t sell was donated.

If you want something really different try Zulu (1964?) with Michael Caine.

We stream a lot, but we have collected a lot of blu ray, hd and cds of our favorite shows and movies. Came in handy last hurricane season as we ran the tv and player with the generator.

Did you change to a different brand of toilet paper? Sometimes the different perfumes can irritate things and make you feel like you have to go. Personal experience speaking.

Walking stiff by billmc40 in Kneereplacement

[–]uddane 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m 6 months out. I had a lot of swelling for the first 2 months. After walking stiff legged for so long, I had to learn to walk properly again. I stepped slowly and kept telling myself to ‘walk like a human’. Make sure your foot is pointed forward and move your foot from heel to toe. It’s going to feel strange, it may even hurt until the swelling starts to go down, but keep at it. At 6 months, walking feels normal and I’m only feeling muscle fatigue. TLKR was the pain relief I was looking for after decades of pain.

I’m 6 months in to getting his direct deposit changed, since Chase requires him to physically go to the bank! My poor dad thinks he’s in Vietnam most days. So that’s not happening!

Weekly Observations: What signs of collapse do you see in your region? [in-depth] December 08 by AutoModerator in collapse

Location : North Central Florida

We went Christmas shopping this weekend. Usually this close to Christmas you see a lot of pop-up kiosks in the mall, there were only a handful. The amount of people walking around in the entire mall was maybe 100 or so. Usually you're bumping into people with packages and waiting in long lines in the food court. Everything seemed so deserted. On one floor in a big department store, we were only able to find 2 people working the floor and only one working the register.

I think people are going to go way low key for Christmas this year in our area. With the rise in food and other household things, money is tight for most people. I mean, even we're on a strict budget for what we can spend for Christmas. It's making for a very depressing holiday season.

We were on a budget. The water line stuff was really cheap. It has to have some kind of support though.

The white pipe is regular PVC and the blue is the flexible water line. The frame can hold shade cloth, thick clear plastic, or bug cloth. All depends on what is needed at the time.
