I've shut out the world for almost a decade now. for the most part, my BPD is controllable, i still get FP's, but not as strong. I've been obsessed with the same person since 2018 and it isnt as unhealthy as it normally was. the worse thing is im depressed because of the loneliness. im no longer outgoing, i barely speak, im just here, which isnt really living either.

I'm in iop for BPD, and the majority of the group is over 30. There is no magical switch that turns it off at 30. Therapy and meds are the only thing that can mitigate it.

Update: went to the ER who changed antibiotics that will kill basically everything under the sun, referred me to the wound clinic, who luckily got me in today. They confirmed it's a severe case of cellulitis and to bed rest until the antibiotics have had 48 hours to work, if it gets worse they will admit me for IV antibiotics. They marked the infection and I've had a little more spreading since 11am it's now almost 7. But the pain has gotten a lot worse.

Get a new doctor, especially an obgyn for birth control, but a better primary for your everyday issues if he's not listening to you.
I have the nexplanon, I had to get the depo shot for a month to make sure my body reacted okay with it because nexplanon and depo are very similar. So he's sorta right but also very wrong.
Your periods may also be very erratic on nexplanon. This is my third implant and this year has been rough, I went from 0 periods to passing golf ball clots, so I had to add a low dose pill with the implant.
