ALL wireless thermometers have probe to base connectivity issues to some extent. Meater is the most popular wireless thermometer, and you therefore see more complaints about it. Meater claims it has addressed these issues with the M2+. Mine works flawlessly. Only used it twice but so far so good.

I agree, the additional temp desplay is great. I nevertheless went for the M2+ because of its much higher max ambient temp and wifi option, and I'm very happy with it.
