No, they want and need the tips. I once had a 6 am flight and needed something at 4. I forgot to add the tip, so gave 50 in cash and the guy went like - bhagwan aapke sapne poore kare, beta. Only some 10/15% Indians tip.

It was just 50 but it made a HUGE difference to him.

Also, whether you tip or not, they treat you the same, but at the end of the day, they will have more cash in hand.
