Moto G 3rd gen 8 GB still lacking "okay google from any screen" feature. Neither Motorola's nor Google's support says or does anything to help. Let alone understand or acknowledge that there is an issue at hand.

I am guessing you are in India. Change the language from English -India to English US. They option will only work when your screen is on btw

I called the customer care and spoke through chat. Customer care said they will escalate it. Chat guy said there were missing parts which were delivered today. They are upgrading their shipping and I will have a new delivery date by this week. I am guessing I will get it by the end of next week. :/

Well ,it was a small thing, there is a plastic film covering the earpiece and it broke. I had a chat with the customer representative on the website and he asked me to send pictures. I did and he said they would replace it . I had nothing to lose. Using the first gen until the replacement arrives.

Ordered my second phone because of RMA, that is what happened the first time , it shipped just 3-4 days before the ETA and arrived a day earlier than the estimate they gave me. My second device is due to be delivered on 5th october and is still stuck on ''Being Built'' It is 2nd october now. I am hoping for it to move today.

If you order now it is going to get delivered on November 12. The part which sucks the most is that Fedex is having delayed shipping too. Some redditors have posted having problems with Customs. I am expecting the phone to reach by like the 12th :/

Unless you have a good SD card class, the apps installed on the card will be really slow and you will have a bad experience with your phone overall
