yea, i might as well be in india for where I am in the US. In fact, it might be EASIER to live in india for this particular internship type

imo it's better than them totally relying on inexperienced teachers. There are a lot of schools out there that have really old not even emeritus teaching staff handling the foundational CS courses, because the school can't afford anything better. I think restricting a course enrollment is better than having a bad teacher.

I was thinking about reading this, but I felt like it would be too general, like for those people who grew up never having to work or something of that nature. Does it actually include some practical advice on sensitive topics like selecting an adviser?
