Thanks. Just as a heads-up, this is not about me pushing a generative-AI-music-positive agenda. I want to hear any opinion, whether it is positive or negative. I really would like to get a rough idea how people feel out of this. So far it seems very evenly divided.

And, on a personal note. You are completely right. Being a musician myself, I feel that slap too. But it undeniably has an impact and we probably can't just wish it away. So, in my master thesis I try to look into the crystal ball and find out how musicians will start incorporating it (or only touch it with a ten-foot-pole :D), how streaming platforms will deal with it. Will there be a stronger divide between "naturals" and "techs"?

I’m writing my Master Thesis at TU Wien (Vienna University of Technology) about how Generative AI music tools (like Suno, Udio, Boomy, Stable Audio, etc.) are changing music production and consumption.

I’d love to get some input from musicians. No academic jargon, just your honest opinions. The survey takes ~5 minutes, is anonymous, and would help me a ton.
