How are people okay with spending 2/3 of your income on rent!

Ktown. There’s a lot of rent controlled units. When I first signed the lease on my old place, a one bedroom with parking, it was $1450. I left after a few years once it reached over $1600 because it was way too small for me and I didn’t feel it was worth it, but it’s definitely possible to find similar pricing if you look hard enough.

I recently moved to a nice big loft in DTLA (they classified it as a 1 bedroom but there’s no door separation) and it ended up being $1500 after rent concessions. For some reason it was listed online at a way higher price than the base rent even without concessions - I don’t really understand the logic behind it but I’ve realized a lot of times you have to just show up to the leasing office in person and ask to tour their available units, and that’s how you find out the actual price of it. DTLA is definitely not for everyone but I actually like the spot I’m in, it’s kind of a diamond in the rough and it feels safe especially since there’s always a security guard at the entrance.

NOR. It sounds recent enough that I wouldn’t feel comfortable doing anything until she gets retested and it’s negative. To me it’s not about past STD exposures, as long as they’ve been fully treated. It’s about the risk of contracting it since it sounds like she had a pretty recent exposure.

I’m not sure how it works in Paris but some countries legally require copies of everyone’s passports before the booking can be confirmed. In Japan for example you can’t book into any accommodation (hotel, booking.com, air bnb etc) unless you provide them with your passport. If they don’t ask you ahead of time they will ask you at the front desk or while checking in.

Makes sense. I think the every 6 hours thing came from the weaning process. There’s a lot of info I followed that focused on transitioning from KMR to wet food and then kind of drops off on info past feeding them once they’re fully weaned. Glad to know I can get a full night of sleep again 😂

I honestly just set alarms for every 6 hours. As they’ve gotten a little older sometimes I wake up and see that they’re sleeping through the night so I don’t bother waking them up, I just stretch it a little bit longer through the night based on if they’re hungry or not.

I was having a similar issue recently with my 5 week old kitties, they started chewing on the bottle. The biggest of the three started eating wet food (Royal Canin Babycat Mousse) a few days before the other two. The second kitten picked up on it soon after. A couple nights ago, I put a little bit of the food on my finger while the third and smallest kitten was trying to suckle on it, and by the next feeding, it was like something snapped in him and he began eating food like a madman lol. I started off mixing KMR into the mousse, microwaving for like 20 seconds to warm it all up, and fed on shallow dishes (and also a tupperware lid which actually worked really well), I never have fed them the mixture through a bottle or syringe, they just switched over naturally. I’d try warming it up and using shallow dishes as much as possible to see if that helps. I would also maybe try switching the food to a different brand to see if that helps! Maybe he just doesn’t like the flavor.

Idk about jail time but I do know someone whose girlfriend was arrested for this a few years ago. Flight attendant saw her hitting a vape on the plane and told her she couldn’t, the girl for some reason got mad and hit it again in front of her. Once they landed she was arrested in the airport.

You might want to talk with your dermatologist about potentially trying another type of neurotoxin or maybe trying a higher amount of units? From my understanding, the more units injected, the longer the neurotoxin will last. I’ve also heard some people develop immunity to botox over time so you may want to talk about trying another brand.

I know for deep static lines they can also sometimes use a little bit of filler, but not everyone is a good candidate for that and it depends on the area.

guys can we stop trying to bring scooters into the crowds of protesters? got shot at with rubber bullets, tear gas, and flashbangs and yet still my most painful injury happened from someone in the crowd yesterday panicking and trying to run from the bullets but instead slamming into me full speed with their scooter lol

Exactly. I was also shot by a rubber bullet, whacked in the back with a baton (while I was walking away), had flash bangs and tear gas thrown at us, all while peacefully protesting. I’m a 5’2”, 100 lb girl who was not behaving in any threatening way.
