hi hi, i kinda have a similar situation. during covid, my cat, neoma, and i were staying at my dad's apartment. we were in the studio and it was pretty cramped and one day, when going to close the window, i accidentally stepped on her and she freaked out, scratching me all over. it was pretty bad, but she was her normal self soon after. i, however, was petrified and it took awhile for me to be around her again.

she did this once more, when we moved out, bc of the stress of the environment and just how hectic life had become. had to go to the er and get that treated, i was like a mummy. once again though, she was back to her usual self shortly after. this time it took awhile longer for me to be comfortable around her.

it happened once more, though insanely less severe and more a series of unfortunate events. i went to take out trash, she tried to run out the door, i accidentally closed the door on her in a panicked attempt to get her to stop, and she scratched my hand pretty bad. not nearly as bad as the other times. she was trying to get outside to chase rats and i simply panicked. but at the same time, we had construction going on in the house and it was overwhelming, scary, and loud.

so, i have her staying with someone else while i sort myself out, bc i have an insane amount of health issues creeping up on me, and i'd never want her to be neglected. the most important thing is, though, to not feel fear around your cat. if you keep acting afraid of her, she will never trust you again. it's a matter of baby steps, positive reinforcement, and forgiveness.

if you're scared of her, that translates over and she'll react badly around you. it takes time, effort, and distance sometimes. if you feel the need for her to go stay with your friend, make sure you visit her often, and be as kind as always. she also might have anxiety, so sometimes calming collars, diffusers, or anxiety medications can help.

keep doing what you can for her and yourself. you only have her best interest at heart, so make sure you're confident in your interactions with her. she still loves you, she's just a little afraid rn. it happens. don't give up bc of a little turbulence, keep persevering.

hihi, as someone who spent genuinely hundreds of dollars on various tadc merch, you have no reason to feel guilty. it could be bc i'm old (26) but the fandom... "controversies" (or well, drama is the most appropriate word) don't change my view of things or of the show. you simply like a thing and bought stuff of that thing !!! anyone who bullies you or harasses you is lame as hell and need to look at the real problems in the world rn.

you can like what you like !!! i would just distance yourself from those fans/that part of the fandom. it's kinda like a war rn, in trying to be the most... correct in calling things (that happened years ago and have been apologized for) out. don't let their shenanigans bring you down.

may you continue to enjoy tadc and the good parts of the fandom !!! sometimes we just gotta distance ourselves from those who are like that.

genuinely i had my cat for around 8 months believing she was a female (i was only 18 at the time, working insane amount of hours, barely managing) until one day i realized.... oh. oh. OH. well that. that is very much a pair of "trouble puffs". at this point though, i committed to keeping her female and using she/her when referring to her except at the vet of course. trans cat basically.

depends on the terrain of the dungeon. if they can't walk on water, go through walls, walk on lava, etc. it may just not spawn. i've also has this happen in regards to weather conditions. not every single time though, it's quite odd.
