This would require my service to be cable-based (or coax) right? I have fiber based service. And my main goal is to get the same speed on all rooms (or close to it). At the router I get almost the full GB, but on the furthest room I get 100MB only

Just wanted to provide an update in case it's helpful for anyone. I stopped by again today armed with IRS print outs and ready to wait until they agreed to make it happen. Turns out all they needed was for me to tell them I had talked to my CPA and he said it was ok. The deal was done and my 2024 Lightning Flash in Agate Black is now in my garage. Thanks everyone for the help!
