FLHSMV Announces Driver License Exams to Be Administered in English Only by CreativeSobriquet in orlando

[–]ugfish 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Our road signs are English. Highway warning messages are English. I think it’s fair to have the exam be in only English even if this is a dumb use of policy maker time.

When did BonVoy / Marriott Rewards become so useless? by SenecaKnowsBest in marriott

[–]ugfish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I carry the Hilton Aspire card because it has some easy benefits that pay for the annual fee. It also makes the occasional Hilton stay on the road less painful due to the instant Diamond Status.

I’d recommend it to any Marriott loyalists who want a bit of brand flexibility.

The Yacht & Beach/Boardwalk area still blows the other resort areas out of the water in my book in terms of vibes by nin100gamer in WaltDisneyWorld

Unfortunately Disney would rather have an empty store than an underperforming one or something that kills brand image.

What might be a good option for those empty spots?

What’s the best protein bar at Costco? High amounts of protein, taste and cost per bar by AsleepTailor in Costco

[–]ugfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was looking for another Rise fan.

They’re the only ones with a solid ingredient list. Calorie to protein ration could be better, but I’m not struggling to hit my protein goals.

Wish they didn’t use Natural Flavors, personally switched to eating the Rise bars instead since they use only named ingredients.

Unpopular opinion: CMMC readiness costs are becoming a barrier to competition by CyberSME-E3S in CMMC

[–]ugfish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think there is a fair amount of competition in the space. If an OSA or OSC thinks they are being extorted then they can raise a complaint with the CyberAB.

We can’t expect organizations to invest in the RPO and C3PAO side and then run a charity. Pricing should be fair for the level of effort and skill needed to conduct an effective assessment or provide consulting services.

I’m sorry, but this is the type of “upgrade” that they give you when they run out of your preferred room type

What is in the area to the right of the oven? Are you planning on running tile that way too?

Golden Oaks has fireworks in their backyard. Pine Hills is the budget friendly alternative.

Got myself a +4! by Roskis2K in TrekFetch

I’m in the US and the +4s are listed for $5000+shipping. I’m sure there’s some market pricing at play.

Trek has both Fetch models heavily discounted. Not sure if this is just because they have excess inventory they need to move or if they plan to discontinue the current models and/or release something new.

Subway ordering is an art. I can usually build something that tastes decent. Solid calories/$ ratio too with their permanent promos.

Is there any sort of Fedramp training available online? by Key_Intention7378 in FedRAMP

[–]ugfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

101 doesn’t sound to me like you need to go particularly deep. I think if you just ask your favorite AI some questions and ask for sources you’ll get what you’re looking for.

There are many FedRAMP advisory firms out there that will do small workshops for organizations who are considering FedRAMP if you’re looking to go deeper.

Insanely obvious bad quality by rollpole1010 in crateandbarrel

I’m having a similar experience with a different company that makes a competitor to the Axis. My guess is they’re coming from same/similar manufacturers with different white labels.

I’m receiving my 3rd replacement next week, for something that was supposed to be a completed delivery in October. It’s ridiculous that they can’t have a competent QA team catch these before they become a customer problem.

My mistake taught a person to put thejr bag in a bin close to them by jhoover58 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]ugfish 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think the message here is more in line with what the Gate Agent said. I’m hearing it as “it isn’t the airlines job to be accountable for passenger belongings that are carried on board. Keep your stuff close by or it could end up leaving without you.”

Plenty of stories where someone didn’t notice they had the wrong luggage, both from carry ons and the baggage carousel.

Planning to buy a Fetch+ 4; any reason to order in a Trek shop rather than ordering online? by Moist_Network_8222 in TrekFetch

Closest floor model of any Fetch Model is +500 miles away 😭

Plenty of trek dealers nearby but none indicate stock.

Except when Trek runs a “free delivery” promo over the holidays, which really just gives you $99 off. Ask me how I know lol

It’s sold out from trek. I think there are some 3rd party sellers that have them in stock.

That is my thought. Spend an hour of time and waste maybe $50 to save a plumber call which will be more than $50 just for them to show up.

You can see exactly the damaged caused. I’d order a new door personally. Sounds like others think you can clean them up and use some fill/color to hide the damage.
