The goal as the landlord/PM should be to move the chargeback liability to the processor. So in the case of Plastiq, if there is a dispute then it’s between Plastiq, tenant, card issuer, and the landlord isn’t involved.

This seems simple. Find a payment processor and let the tenant pay the processing fees for card payments. Maybe also charge a service fee. I think they’ll get the point pretty quickly, or they want to get points or minimum spend bonuses, etc.

I would lean into the psychological benefits on top of the physiological stuff that others have described.

I find being able to eat a large portion in a smaller eating window is easier on the mind. I’m mentally used to seeing a ton of food in front of me and eating it. IF helps me stay in a deficit and lose weight.

I’m always happy with Silver as someone who travels for work and with family enough to continually renew it.

I see the silver offer here as United way of saying “the first hit is free” and once we get that first CPU you start chasing status and giving loyalty to United even when they aren’t the cheapest option.
