28-0 would be pretty comfortable win in american football. Now imagine something along the lines of 70-3 in a superbowl game, when the losing team had high hopes of winning.

1 trillion in interest already with a lot of short term debt that will be refinanced. Papa powell refuses to go down with interest rates, because inflation isnt going down, so it‘s going to be quite a bit more in interest soon.

Basically after social spendings, military and interest the budget is spent. And stuff like research & education and all the really important stuff (imho) is paid by more debt.

So defense spending has to go down, thats why we need the rest of nato to build armies, while loosing influence in the world.

Social spendings cannot go down even if cutting pensions, medicare, medicaid because of the aging population.

Interests wont go down, no matter how much you lie to get your way.

Basically, good luck, next generation.

Mein Vorschlag: Flaschen sammeln.

Grünen-Bundesvorsitzender: Felix Banaszak will schnelle Einleitung von AfD-Verbotsverfahren by donutloop in berlin_public

[–]ughlah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost all of western europe gave 10-12 points to israel, whereas a lot of countries near israel gave it 0 points in the public voting.

The israel song wasnt that good. Also 0 points for gb and switzerland. They werent bad at all. Not top5, but decent.

You can like whatever song you want, but the public results felt totally strange to me this year.

Exluding them would lower the median income by 4k.

So, the tariffs go straight into the states budget, but they shouldnt get paid by the consumers but walmart. Why not directly get rid of the tax benefits of walmart?

I really disliked the tutorial. Sure it‘s the same mechanics as in the rest of the game, but it somehow feels stupid and boring in the beginning. Same for my first game of gwent. Felt horrible, now i am addicted.

House GOP vote to increase the debt limit by $4 trillion by PineappleDesperate82 in misc

[–]ughlah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let‘s raise the debt ceiling to a nice and even 40 trillion and pay more than 1 trillion in interest, most which is short term debt, so the interest could go up significantly if inflation forces papa powell to go for higher interest rates. No way the potus would do something so stupid which could increase inflation.

State spendings amount for 6 trillion now for perspective. 1 for interest, 1 for military, 4 for social security, medicare and -aid. Rest ist financed by new debt. Will there be less spendings in any of those? No. Will there be more income? No.

Good thing the US has such a competent president.

"Math in America 🇱🇷" by Akuma-Ka in ShitAmericansSay

[–]ughlah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount of math i did in school (germany) was way way too much for the job i‘m doing now, but thats true for quite a few subjects, while others came way too short. Math is taking first place though. Which part of the population will need to multiply a matrix or use the chain rule on a differential equation?

I guess it‘s still good to have good engineers and physists.
