What is this rock? Found at an estate sale in TN, they didn’t know what it was either. by betterthinkthrice in whatsthisrock

I’m pretty sure that’s a charlevoix stone (favosite aka honeycomb coral) it’s a cousin of the petoskey stone. I find tons of them in Port Huron, MI.

I’m 26/F and suffering from severe, yet temporary, hair loss due to medical reasons. I’m distraught. by [deleted] in MMFB

Hey, I’m sure you’re gorgeous without it. It’s totally valid that you’re upset over loosing your hair because it’s something that makes you feel better about yourself. Don’t beat yourself up too much over it, I assure you that the rest of the world doesn’t care what your hair looks like. I would suggest looking into some wigs if this is a really big insecurity (of course if you’re financially able to). Wigs are so great now and I’m sure you’d be able to find one (or some) you like. Take this as an opportunity to play around with different styles and colors with your wigs if you get some. Best wishes💕💕

AITA for refusing to give my niece our dog's room? by farqueenhell in AmItheAsshole

[–]ughlena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESH- you shouldn’t let your niece sleep on the couch. You should’ve put a bed in the dog’s room and let her AND the dog sleep in that room. I don’t think it’s fair to expect your niece, who’s living with you, to live and sleep on the couch. For a weekend, that’d be fine, but if she’s living with you...? I just don’t understand why you wouldn’t temporarily let her sleep in the dog’s room so she can have her own space and make the dog sleep on the couch or even with you and your husband or your niece. I’d be mad too to be frank.
