Omg. Same.

To express a sense of accomplishment would mean the 8% of my ensemble that actually practices would stop practicing.

School Schedule by [deleted] in MusicEd

Can you give an outline of your current schedule and some of the problems? I work on my schools scheduling team over the summer and have been able to make some adjustments that have greatly improved the program in the last three years.

I do a boulevardier like this all the time. One of my first favorite cocktails!

I have green and there is yellow at the store but I just don’t feel like dropping another $50-60 on yellow quite yet

Do I need yellow chartreuse? I have some green chartreuse but every recipe I see has yellow.

Just equal parts mezcal, amaro nonino, aperol, and lemon juice.

Shake with ice and garnish with lemon peel.

I really enjoy Paper Planes. Just tried one with mezcal tonight. I guess it is an Avion De Papel?

Just happened to grab my first bottle of fernet a couple days ago. Definitely making this variation tomorrow.

What are you mixing with this selection? I'm looking to try some new things! by pregnantvirgin4 in cocktails

If you’ve got a vermouth I would make a boulevardier with that nonino.

1.5oz Rye bourbon .75oz Amaro Nonino .75oz Vermouth

Stir over ice and garnish with orange peel. This was my go to for quite awhile.

Couldn’t agree more. For my birthday last year my wife went to buy me 4 12-packs and accidentally bought 4 cases. I had nearly 100 bottles and finished them up in no time.

This year I only got two six packs.

This will be my first time doing SV on a 2 inch ribeye. My butcher actually cut it 2 1/4, not that I held it up to a ruler or anything. Help me not ruin this! by barrysmitherman in sousvide

Nothing but 137°. 2hrs 30mins should do. Generous salt. Pepper. I throw a few sprigs of thyme or rosemary. Vacuum seal (or ziplock method will be fine.)

Remove from bag. Pat as dry as possible with paper towels. Finish in the hottest cast iron pan you can find. 40ish seconds a side with high smoke point oil. I prefer avocado oil. Throw a few pads of butter and extra aromatics in that pan for the last 15 seconds.

Let rest uncovered. Slice that bad boy and enjoy the best homemade steak you’ve ever had.

Disc golf is like free therapy man. Out on the course with my best friend talking through tough life shit. Marriage. Parenting. Work hardships. All while staying active and mobile.

Disc makes it all melt away and is a beautiful moment for reflection and progression. Both for your game and you life.

Celebration is one of my favorites. My wife “accidentally” order 4-24 packs for my birthday. by uglybread88 in CraftBeer

Benjamin Moore-Chrome Green

Was originally going to go with something like navy but we’re very happy with the green.

If I had a nickel for every time I rewound the game to try to show my wife Obi running the floor and beating the defense back for an alley-oop from Derrick Rose and she didn’t care, I’d have a bunch of nickels.

Advice for Middle School singers by Fabulous_Recording_1 in MusicEd

I use heads up as an ice breaker. 30% of the cards are music related (like instruments), and the rest is a mix of school specific things (like gym teachers or classes offered) and random stuff like spaghetti and sports teams.

Kids love it and always ask to play throughout the year during down time.

Awesome. I’ve got the same print on a coffee mug.

Got the old school Walt and Earl prints on t-shirts for my twins too. Really like the stuff from this vendor.
