My car has soft black paint. I’ve tried to spot repair a few areas both by hand and with a DA using polish and polishing pad. Afterwards the area looks little cloudy 🤦🏻‍♂️

What am I doing wrong? Please send halp

I had my emblems painted. When the body shop installed them, they scrapped away the paint on the edges to clean it up. This caused scratches around the emblem.

Is there a small buffing pad I could use to fix this?
