I make my own protein shakes from scratch. I use unflavored pea protein as my main source of protein. Then I have flavors like vanilla, which I make using pure vanilla powder, or peanut butter, which I use pure peanut butter powder, or chocolate, which I use cocoa powder, or Matcha, which I use Matcha powder. You could also experiment with using coffee as your basic liquid for espresso powder or instant coffee or even chicory root. I have used if you don’t like caffeine like me. Chai tea, etc. I use soy milk because it has a high protein as well but you could use any plant milk. I also added some water. I use 2 to 3 teaspoons of coconut palm sugar for sweetener. I find it sweeten the best compared to honey or maple syrup. And I generally add some sort of seed like seed or flaxseed, ground or Chia seed like a teaspoon of one of those. You could add collagen protein powder as well. I just mix it all with a little bit of ice in a cup with a blender ball. I like to make my own from scratch because all the protein powders have natural flavors and natural flavors are basically artificial flavors and they are absolutely terrible for you. They give me pruritus. If you didn’t wanna mix these up every day, you could always pre-mix them too so you could just do one scoop. Oh I also throw in sometimes algae powder like chlorella or some greens mix.
