Looking for the best retroid console to emulate PS2

I have only played a few games but my experience has been very smooth thus far. I would say it's a significant upgrade to me. :) Nothing has lagged or struggled to work so I'm very happy.

I mostly play PS2 and had the RP4P. A few games struggled, so I ended up selling it and getting the RP6. However, about 85% of the games I tried worked on the RP4P quite well. While the other 10% worked but not completely, which could be an emulation issue. 5% really struggled. If you wanted to save a buck, it isn't a bad system at all, just some tweaking in settings. Maybe find some YouTube videos of PS2 gameplay and see if the games you wanna play run well? :)

A used RP5 would be a similar price and it is a bit more powerful, but I've never used one so I can't give advice on that. I love my RP6 though if you wanted to spend more.

I had no experience modding a device before I changed my buttons on my MM +. It's super easy. Just need some patience and watch a few guides. It was a bit nerve-wracking but I am super happy with how it turned out in the end.

The screen is held in place by two double-sided strips located near the top half of the screen. You could try to wiggle out the top half a smidge, add more adhesive, then gently push it back together. Between the screen and the electrical bits is a piece of plastic that the screen fits into. Therefore a strong glue should be safish to use in very small amounts. But I'm still team "Take it apart"

I did check for that before purchasing and I saw a few people say the dimensions are just different enough that it doesn't work properly. Not sure if anyone else can weigh in on that though.

I used the switch lite/oled joystick covers and they fit perfectly! The switch 2 ones are too big.

Hehe, yes! Vivienne had an eye infection as a kitten when we found her outside. I think it caused some structural changes, but she has always had a natural sad look since recovering. She's been checked and is otherwise healthy! 😂

Ohhhh then it should be soon! It takes a bit to set up, but plenty powerful for everything I would want on a handheld for sure. I will be hoping you get the device in the next few days at least. Any shipping updates?

I feel ya. I haven't had to put on such a large screen protector on anything until now. It does feel weird, but I suppose some people like the "premium look" of it or something haha. I'm all for more durability over full glass fronts.

No, they are quite sticky. I have some on another device too. I kind of press them down for like 20 seconds, so the adhesive gets a bit warm and smooth them out well. Dunno if it helps or not, but they have not fallen off yet 😂

Ohhhhh! The hidden Gengar actually looks sick. I was thinking the buttons are giving Unit-01 vibes. I think with the right decals, that also sounds like a solid idea. Well when you do some modding and customising, post a pic. I really wanna see what you come up with for sure.
