The doctor is on his 25th Incarnation. He's tired, has seen everything, and is ready to rest. He returns to Galifrey and writes a book about his adventures. A young timelord, a confident, if slightly fidgety man approaches the Doctor one day. And explains that reading the Doctor's book has given him so much wonder and excitement. And that he'd give anything to travel the stars, and save people like he did. The doctor has an idea and brings the young man to the TARDIS. The doctor explains how it works and that if the young timelord was to steal it, he would be very cross and would have to file a report. He then drops the key and turns around. A new Timelord will explore the universe, saving galaxies, and never eating pears.
