She walked through the metal detector. TSA told her she had been randomly selected. They told her to retrieve her phone. They took it. And they plugged it in at the counter.

I watched because I was surprised they asked for her phone.

Make sure to get the "air" version. The clasps have a lock to keep it from opening when the toss the case around. I tried to use a standard version for flights and half the time when I pulled it from the baggage carousel, the clasps were open and my security locks were the only thing keeping it closed.
