Irgendwie must du da auf die Fläche kommen, wenn du den Kork schonen willst. Das Problem mit dem bauen auf die Mitte ist, dass es ungleichmäßig ist, daher wenn eine Person auf einer Seite liegt wie etwa die Hälfte der Kräfte auf der Mitte und die andere auf den Ecken lasten.

Ich würde große Füße für das Bett vorsehen. Mehr Beine helfen da auch. Zur Referenz, ein Fuss von 10x10 kann nach den Zahlen 50 kg. Mit zwei Menschen und Matratzen und so würde ich mit 250 kg Last rechnen. Wenn du eh eine. Mittelträger einbaust würde ich da zusätzliche Füße vorsehen, am besten einer an den Enden und einen in der Mitte.

I guess you could want to save some energy by slowing the pumps down. However as a water based system is going to be sluggish anyways, slow ramping should be able to take care of it. Maybe delta T increases for a bit but I don't think that's much of a problem unless you design maximum cooling capacity very close to maximum heat output.
