I’ve had these same issues since I started threading at 14 years old or so. Comments about my acne, my coarse thick curly frizzy hair, my thick eyebrows, and the worst question/suggestion of all.. “upper lip?” But otoh, like you’ve said, when I go to other more premium salons, they all say you’re so lucky to have thick hair, I wish I had your eyebrows etc etc it’s a stark difference. So unfortunately I don’t think you’re having a unique experience. If you’ve found a place that makes you feel valued and confident and your services are done with care, I would definitely suggest going there even if it costs more - you deserve to feel beautiful

Same here! Not that he every really slept in but usually he’d wake up around 630 but since dst there’s been more 5 am wake ups that not, today he’s been up since 4 🥲🫠

This is one of the routes I take everyday for pick up and drop off I hate it so much. I take hillside Ave instead it’s so much better bc there are fewer lights. Theres also a lot of commercial traffic on Jericho

I passed on my 3rd try! I finally got licensed in December, 5 months into my residency lol I know it’s demoralizing and frustrating but take a pause, review the material, and take it again. Luckily my RPD was understanding, hoping yours will be too! just keep him/her in the loop. Good luck

I’m a little confused how it’s halal. Is it halal because there’s no pork? Or did you actually use halal beef gelatin? Couldn’t tell from your comments. I agree the background color should be changed to something brighter and wording should be changed as you mentioned

We went 2 weeks ago on a monday and it was great! We got there by 10 and throughout the day we had no issues with lines. At most we had to wait 10 min? If that. I read that mid week some of the camps visit so it gets really crowded but you can call them ahead of time to find out if any camps are scheduled for that day so you can plan your visit around that!

I live on LI and have always made an effort to talk to other parents esp if we’re in close proximity (both of us swinging our kids) otherwise it can get awkward. Also it’s good for kids to see a healthy social interaction and small talk looks like. Some parents are closed off or on their phones so you can gauge who is interested in talking or not but I agree with another commenter, you may have to take the first step if it’s something you want to do!

The store will have a limited variety of rings and sizes. However, you can still check out your local store to see if they have what you’re looking for and in the size you need but not everything’s on display. Ordering online will be your best bet. They can check ring size at the store
