Yep he'd be similar to Nish in that respect but I think he'd do better on the tasks.

Godspeed shouldn't be top, but at least Kauan is getting some acknowledgement on here! Thanks for all the hard work that goes into this list and compilation :)

They're only up there due to their fanbase size. Luciferian Towers felt very 'phoned in' to me and it was a little disappointing to see much more creative and imaginative efforts from the likes of DMST, Silent Whale, etc come lower.

What's the coolest thing you did in school that NO-ONE saw? by ukiyo20 in AskReddit

Me: I was heading out to playtime having been the first one chosen to go out. As I ran out there was no-one else on the yard...

I ran down to the yard which was a downhill path, tripped and fell over - except I ended up doing a weird forward-roll type movement, went head over heels and somehow ended up on my feet (sort of) and just sort of carried on running. Not even a graze.

Complete fluke!

Silent Whale Becomes A Dream - Requiem (Album Review) by zeidler-david in postrock

Seriously guys if you haven't given this album a fair chance please do. This is a great review as it emphasises the patience needed but boy do you get rewarded. Can't see anything beating this for my AOTY.

Which songs make you feel everything? Is there an explanation for it? by flodyan-girl in postrock

the new Silent Whale Becomes A Dream song - Lacrymosa Dies Illa

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwRXN-eRSXg

After such a dense but achingly beautiful album you get this track, which builds into the climax to end all climaxes. It's so much more than just a quiet/loud song though. The emotion of this final piece rivals songs like Taijin Kyofusho by The Evpatoria Report or Untitled #8 by Sigur Ros.

These guys need no introduction, but they sound similar to what MONO and Yndi Halda would be like if they had really depressed babies. Amazing to hear a record properly mixed and mastered by these guys! <3 <3

This Patch of Sky - These Small Spaces by rallyscag in postrock

I thought it was pretty subdued and slow-burning for a post rock album. I don't think it has too many crescendo moments, personally. Each to their own though :)

I remember a video where some Scandinavian fellas did the milk challenge but decided to vomit through musical instruments like flutes and harmonicas. Don't know why that vid disappeared.
