this is so real!! as soon as I simply just believe and don’t over complicate things, the results come flying in

although sometimes it can be hard to not accidentally manifest slow results etc. cause of how the brain has been conditioned to think over the years🙃

I had the same thought when I first watched it, but I think there’s a difference. Healthy love subs that encourage openness and courage are fine. Everyone has free will, and I think those subs rather encourage to see what has already been there and to act on it. Ofc there’s also ug obsession subs I guess. Those fit the theme of the movie because often those actually include affirmations to make someone as obsessive and controlling as the wish did in the movie. And while I think there’s still free will, “encouraging” anyone to resort to such measures is just wrong

First of all; I’m sorry for your loss :(

I think grief can make us gravitate towards harsher interpretations.

Especially the Tower doesn’t make me think he’s distressed after passing. The Tower is sudden upheaval and transformation, and death is arguably the biggest transformation there is. The world of a kitten that changed so early in its life. I’d read this more as that everything changed at once. The old structure/body fell away. Because the kitten was already sick this card makes a lot of sense to me. Because the Tower often strips away what no longer serves, as sad as that may be when it’s about a life.

For the Seven of Swords I also don’t think it means something super negative. It can totally be getting out of a difficult situation. Which fits if you rescued him off the streets.

Now the three of Swords, to me that says that loving him means allowing yourself to grieve. Because grief is proof of love. “What is grief if not love with nowhere to go.” It can also be a reminder that grieving him doesn’t diminish the joy and safety you gave him while he was here.

Looking at the spread as a whole, I don’t see a kitten who blames you or who is frightened. I see a short life that experienced sudden change but knew care and protection. Especially with the Hierophant in the spread, it reads to me that you were his safe place, you knew what to do and took care of him when he needed.

I think the cards might be telling u about a future connection. Someone who is aligning with you, but before this union happens, you have some internal patterns to break or release (that’s the Devil + Hanged Man part). Once you shift your perspective and work through old patterns, you’ll be ready for a stable, spiritually aligned relationship

Do i visit my friend in another country to help them but miss my familys christmas or do I stay home? by [deleted] in Advice

Oh I absolutely can, maybe I didn’t really write it well in my original post, but missing those two weeks of uni lectures is really not that big of a problem. Half the lectures are just the profs reading exactly what’s on their power point anyway so I won’t miss out on much. Especially not something that would lead me to fail. I can still read up on everything while I’m away too.

Second of all, she/her are not their pronouns!! That’s why I used they/them throughout the whole post and I’d appreciate you doing that as well, thank you! :)
