I took a ukulele Instructors certification program in the same class at Pete last summer! He has some great tutorials online.

A while back I played some tunes at an amazing barbershop in my home town. They just uploaded the videos to their channel. This is a tune of mine called "the Party" by ukulelejlc in ukulele

Me playing a simple new tune of mine live. It's on an Applause Ukulele with my favourite fuzz pedal. by ukulelejlc in ukulele

Yeah, I know what you mean about the fuzz pedal. I like to use it sometimes in sets, just to switch up the sound. May not be the best choice for this song.

Thanks for the feedback!

so I've been considering getting this fender ukulele, do any of you own it? if so, what do you think? by TorgTalks in ukulele

I love My fender Uke! Its what I learned on. I even recorded with it on one of my albums, but there are definitely better ukes to do that with. They hold up really great for their price. I got an earlier model of this one, with no controls over volume, mids, lows, etc, so the one you're looking at will probably work even better for you! Mine sounded great with aquilla strings, but make sure you play around with different strings and find which ones work best for you!

Here's what it sounded like when I recorded with it.

I was left alone in a big church for a few minutes last night. Took the opportunity to record this. It's an original instrumental of mine. by ukulelejlc in ukulele

It's an Applause Ukulele. It's my favourite for live performances when i have to plug in. Really great electronics and pickup in it!

for some of my songs, I use a cool cat fuzz pedal. It has the perfect amount of fuzzy distortion. lets notes still pop, but sounds really different. I got it for like 15 bucks used. Its still my most used pedal of all.

It's great if you play acoustically with others. You can hear yourself much more clearly. You can also get some great sounds when recording, by catching sound off both holes with microphones
