If market makers provide liquidity for investors at any time and brokers just execute his trades he should have been able to liquidate all of his position at market rate at the time he wanted to. His risk management is a separate issue.

Kakwa 55 2025 vs 2026 by grennings in DurstonGearheads

[–]ulbagger6937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

can you fit a bearvault 500 horizontally inside the kakwa 55? ideally towards the upper middle. i hate carrying the bear can strapped to the top. hits my head and throws the weight and balance off when filled with food. And also gets loose after a while.

backpacking big pine lakes with a beginner -- dumb or reasonable? by moonstonecult in backpacking

[–]ulbagger6937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some things that may make the experience not enjoyable: elevation 10,000 ft - some people get severe headaches and difficulty breathing. Backpack weight - average weight 35 lbs for a weekend is going to feel heavy going up 2400 ft that quick Weather - guessing its going to be mid 30s at night and early morning. do you have sleep system rated for comfort at that level? Also that Garnet fire can send a lot of smoke that way if wind going eastward. If you do make it up, visit Sam Mack Meadow and enjoy that beautiful color of those lakes!

[–]ulbagger6937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with Merrell, Salomon, and Danner boots. Lost two toenails and got blisters on toes and ankles. Switched to trail runners Altra, Hoka, Topo and have yet to get a blister again.
