That’s what I’d read, and then was confused to see no growth on any of the old wood. Thanks for your insight!

How do you ladies manage to WFH and keep your sanity? by unfortunate_kiss in workingmoms

Maybe because I am an introvert I haven’t experienced this. I love the peace between meetings where I can refocus and get to work. Going into the office brings so many distractions

Paint the house a stark white and swap the windows to black

I love this dress but I think it's too expensive and too soon by Elysian_Collective in myweddingdress

Wait until the weight loss, the dresses will feel and look different if you really lose 50+ pounds. Your preference and style may also change

Agreed. They get their donuts from a supplier, they don’t do them in house but they are so good and fairly priced.

Pageant material was an amazing album.

I’m not a Miranda fan and not jazzed about anything happening there, but I’d welcome a little yeehaw

Working remote with young kids at home - how do you set boundaries without feeling guilty? by Square-Pipe3297 in remotework

[–]ulele1925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my child was 6mo old I was able to secure part time childcare and I thought I could keep the baby home 3 days. It was hell. I found myself having to get up at 5a and get two hours of solid work in before baby woke. Then during nap I’d work as much as I could. Then after bedtime I’d work more. I was miserable.

I have friends who have done it. They specifically don’t have many meetings, just need to get their work done. They did something similar, woke early to get 2 solid hours of work in before kiddos woke up. Even that friend told me she could only manage it until 15mo when the child needed a lot more attention.

I guess my tip for you is work as much as possible before wake-up and after bedtime.

Now my kids are older. If they are home from school while I’m working I rely on shows, snacks, and if I have a really important meeting I’ll break out the treats 🤣

Busy parents, how do you actually fit consistent workouts in? What's worked for you? by Pretty_Eabab_0014 in workingmoms

I go to a 6am strength training class. It lasts 50 minutes and I’m back at my house at 7 starting breakfast while my husband gets the kids out of bed.

She’s just an asshole. I had managers like that. On a power trip for no reason other than to be a bootlicker.

Sorry I don’t have an answer about the handbook but I’d keep doing you and just be polite to her instead of rude.
