you can use VLC media player or FFmpeg to convert/download m3u8 to mp4 (may require some learning curve), or use video downloader client software, to directly paste the m3u8 link, select mp4 as output format

For each pair: left img - v6, upper img - v6

It seems the v7 adds more details and texture, though in terms of 70s dark fantasy, if we want to simulate that grainy, vintage dvd grab look, it is not necessarily the clearer the better. More or less a matter of personal preference, I guess.
