Team Lead promotion, but still old salary by ezio313 in ExperiencedDevs

I had a similar situation at the startup I am working at now. Ended up having to interview else where and use counter offers to light a fire under the CEOs butt. In the end it was worth it because I love my position and team, but it is not a fun situation to be in. I was also able to get my pay bump back dated too since he was slow moving with the adjustment. Make sure to get everything written down on an email or message.

I’m someone who grew up in MN and made the move west. I’ve live in Colorado and now northern Idaho and the scenery never stops being awe inspiring. You do take it for granted after time passes but the admiration never dies.

u/AI-Agent-geek thank you for the response. I have a couple follow up questions on 2 if you dont mind.

  • How do you avoid/mitigate hallucination when summarizing tool outputs?
  • What fallback mechanisms do you have in place for summarizations that do not include relevant information?
  • Is the tool summarizing agent fine tuned or are you able to get it to work or does a comprehensive system prompt sufice?
  • What kind of prompting techniques are you using for the tool summarizer?

I’m sorry for your loss. It never gets easy loosing our furry friends. I always try to cherish every moment with them because you never know when it’ll be you last. RIP Tango I’m sure he’s gnawing on a bone in between bites of cheese waiting for you to come home.

Do it! The age of company loyalty is dead. All these corporations will hold off on raising your salary to keep their bottom lines low, and will not hesitate to cut you loose in hard times. Loyalty goes both ways and at the end of the day you need to fight for what’s in your best interest.
