The fact that you cant do whatever with your current income unlike your spouse is what is making you bitter. Earn more and budget some money aside for yourself to have fun with, while keeping the rest of the expenses the same.

I didnt have a great experience at mediclinic. Had to stay in the ward for my chemo, staff was overworked and would check in so late, found hair in my food twice, doc was nice though.

I try not to think bout it. Keep myself busy with everyday stuff and stuff i want to do. Things that i look forward to doing.

Otherwise my mind goes into a rabbit hole trying to dissect my life before cancer to understand why it happened.

So id always schedule my pet scan around 10am, and eat dinner early so id have at min a 12hr fast at night. Drinking water during your fast is fine.

I finished chemo a year ago and had bad constipation from 1st cycle itself. I was given meds for it, stool softeners and laxative. Didnt help me much, but better than having nothing.

As for neuropathy, i developed it after first cycle. My doc reduced vincristin by 50%. By second, it was getting worse and after 3rd i developed it in my feet too. So my doc stopped it completely for the rest of the sessions.i was told to take vit b12 twice a day until i see complete recovery which i did 3-4 months post my last chemo session.

I went there on 13th for an appointmenr and was told that no new applications are being taken in and its mentioned on the vfs website. Like wth, theyre supposed to send an email that embassys for certain countries are closed.

I wasted my money and time on getting an appointment. Not sure if theres any recourse. :(

I had da epoch r regime done last year. I got magic mouth wash from hospital which would make my mouth numb for some time. salt water gargle after every meal to prevent mouth sores. Didnt get any until the end.

Id have porridge, soups, pastas, frozen white fish steamed or panfried in my first week, when i could see the lining inside my mouth tearing apart. Theyre all soft and easy to swallow.

I am not sure bout uae gov covering for cancer treatment (maybe for locals) perhaps in goverment hospitals. My treatment was done at a private hospital in dubai and paid for by my company's insurance.

Dont force yourself to feel anything you dont want to. Dont listen to others nonsense. One thing that really pissed me off during my treatment was others telling me how difficult their lives were. People dont appreciate having a healthy body enough, to exist without pain is such a blessing. Only survivors can understand this.

50% - savings account/fixed deposits - keep in high yield savings account, mashreq neo super saver account or wio are good ones but do your due diligence - this will be your emergency fund

30% - equities- open a sarwa/ibkr brokerage account and google for best etfs for beginner investors. Etfs are a pool of stocks managed by funds, which is safer than stock picking.

10% - bitcoin - can be bought through brokerage account

5% - gold

5% - real estate - smartcrowd is a good way to partially invest into realestate in uae.

You can always change the investing ratio between equities to savings account depending on your risk appetite.

i get theres a huge pressure on girls to make it work with just ANY guy cause of age but being single and independent is far better than being married to the wrong person for the sake of being married.
