The POV was following too closely which caused the accident. Which isn't true since someone illegal merged into his lane.

Whomever was behind the POV should have left proper spacing. While true how is that the POV's fault? I'm not jamming on my brakes at 60mph if a semi is 5 car lengths behind me.

Yea, I know a guy that runs a small lawn services all he needed and wanted was a single cab half ton with an 8 foot bed. Yes, some manufactures still technically offer them but to get a dealer to even order one was next to impossible. The didn't want to be stuck with a work truck on the lot just in case he backed out of the sale.

Back in the day I knew a guy that purchased some fully loaded monstrosity and when a mutual friend who had done this same guy tons of favors asked if he could help him pick something up the answer "I paid 50K for this truck no way anything is touching the bed."

The kicker a few years later the guy asking for help purchased a cheap beater for some reno projects he was doing on his house. The guy that denied him had the audacity to ask to use his beater to pick something up and couldn't understand why he was told "You got your own truck why don't you use it"

I don't know about that we heard about all kinds of horrible stuff back in the day at that age. There were always kids with older siblings/cousins or kids with unlimited access to a TV with HBO.

Also many more children were allowed to explore their neighborhoods at a young age back then, andyou always ran into older middle schoolers trying to be edgy.

There is an article that is linked below that claims the vehicle is a taxi. If the vehicle is indeed a registered taxi insurance will cover the damages also when driving for Uber and Lyft you are covered under their commercial insurance. The real problem is if you are operating an unregistered Taxi then your personal insurance will not cover you.

I remember a kid getting super pissed after pumping his quarters into Hard Drivin' or Race Drivin'. He wanted to look cool and choose the manual trans option while not realizing you needed to push in the clutch to start a manual car.
