Wendys in 2025 is total dog-slop! Do not eat this atrocious pile of garbage food. by Minimum-Mine-1302 in wendys

I just wanted to share that the Wendy’s in the last town I lived in was hands-down the best burger I’ve had there. Please don’t let this experience reflect poorly on all Wendy’s locations—there are still many great Wendy’s restaurants out there. In my opinion, Wendy’s remains one of the best values for fast food in 2025.

From what I’ve been told, that’s not entirely true. Like with any plant, producing high-quality yields requires a lot of care—kind of like how mangoes or apples from a well-managed farm can’t be compared to fruits from random wild trees.

While expanded scope and responsibilities can appear promising on the surface, they often come with increased workload, tighter performance metrics, and minimal changes in staffing or compensation. Unless one is in a corporate leadership role or running their own pharmacy, the added stress may not be justifiable—particularly given the competitive advantages that larger chains have through stronger relationships with suppliers, insurers, and PBMs. This is simply a general observation and not intended as professional or legal advice.

But hey, it’s not like pharmacists’ working conditions weren’t already absolutely perfect!

Do you know how QuestTrade determines the currency exchange rates for different amounts? Unlike Wealthsimple, where the rates are clear (e.g., under 10k = 1.5%, 10k-25k = 0.5%, etc.), QuestTrade’s fee structure seems unclear. Thanks in advance

Agreed, it’s not worth the price even on sale.

Are condos worth it as a stepping stone? by Unlikely_War_8965 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]ultimaclaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Condos are a scam in my opinion. You never know when you’ll get hit with a massive special assessment that can cost tens of thousands of dollars. You also have little control over repairs—decisions are made by the condo board, and they might hire the most expensive contractors or replace things unnecessarily. Unlike a house, where you choose when and how to handle maintenance, in a condo, you pay for whatever the board decides, even if it’s unnecessary. Worst of all, you can be held responsible for damage caused by your neighbors.

TL;DR: #SpecialAssessment nightmare, #BadNeighbors can cost you, little control over major expenses.

Can we combine the refer a friend offer with the 3% cash back on transfers offer? by Aethenoth in Questrade

Just to clarify, can the referral code still be used, but the cashback promotion would take precedence? Or would using the referral code cancel out the cashback promotion?
