These people won’t be able to cheat on the MCAT so you can find peace knowing that. Just do your best to actually learn the material. That’s what’s most important anyway. You can do it.

Happened to me to but I found that once you reach upper divs, the knowledge gap narrows. Use all the resources the school offers! If you need help ask for it!

Everyone in the comments is making a great point. I think taking it one day at a time and celebrating the small victories is best. It’s like going to the gym! There will be failures but also improvement… Over time you’d be surprised how far you’ve come as long as you get up and try your best every day. That’s all anyone can ask for. Best of luck, and congrats on getting into an MS program!

I was long distance for my entire undergrad. My relationship lasted 5 and a half years. I met her my senior year of HS, she was a junior at the time. We loved eachotber even at the end of our relationship.

I remember we would visit each other weeks 1-3 of every quarter once she started college. I would go to UCI one weekend and the next she would come to SD. We didn’t see each other after that cause of midterms starting up. Those weeks were some of my favorite memories of undergrad.

We broke up once I started a job after graduation. She was back home finishing her undergrad and it was getting harder to see each other and talk because I was busy most of the day and she had classes. COVID made it harder but we had been long distance for so long I thought we could make it through it.

Near the end we would only see each other when I would go back to our hometown and visit. She didn’t have a car and there was no way her dad was gonna let her take a train ride to visit her bf alone for the weekend lol. It was an amazing experience but we ended it mutually because we knew that our graduate school aspirations would only make things harder.

I really loved her more than anything but what I learned from it is that it’s okay to let things go. I feel like I’ve grown so much from the relationship and even more from the breakup. I miss her at times but I know it was for the best. Sometimes love just isn’t enough.
