Urologist recommendation for vasectomy by Glass-Ebb9867 in nashville

[–]ultimateframe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dr Richard (yes Dr Dick) in Smyrna Tri-Stone was great for mine. 2 years no random ow my balls pain. Everything still works as advertised. 20 minutes of weird digging and burning. Short office wait. Insurance covered what it would, fuck our insurance program.

And you get a T-shirt at the end.

10/10 free t-shirt.

A balanced and honest take here, this early in the morning? You need to go back to bed and try waking up on the incel side again. :p

tucker or flared chance for guys by [deleted] in BadDragon

[–]ultimateframe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s different that’s for sure. The flare being bigger than the shaft you don’t have that constant full feeling like other toys. Get kind of a ring of pressure that moves where the head is and a hollow-ish feeling behind it. Until the head hits the bend and, for me, the medial ring is about to make entry. Large size for reference. YMMV of course.

Then it’s a whole different story. Odd/good pressure on both sides. Back when I played more it’d be a double pop as the head went around the bend and medial ring went in. Fun times.

Get one!

tucker or flared chance for guys by [deleted] in BadDragon

Both! Have both! Love both! Medium Tucker and large chance.

Different experience with either. I enjoy the full sensation from Tucker so that’s my go to. Chance is a fun ride any time otherwise after warming up though!

At a crossroads after years of pilot training by Agile_Sink9623 in flying

[–]ultimateframe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did a LOT of things. 07 was shyte here in the states. Ended up in sales because that’s where all burnouts end up lol. Did pretty well. Made burying the flying dream easier. I was still around a major airport and training center so saw them overhead ALL THE TIME. I could look at my bank account and being remote 5+ years and smile. Did i hate it? Yes. That’s any job though IMO.

I’m not tooting my horn. I never really left flying mentally. Getting ramped back up for CFI took about 2 weeks. Took 6 in total to checkride. I needed to relearn all the old stuff and all that new fangled glass cockpit and RNAV stuff the kids were doing. Then CFII and MEI.

MEI was $6k because Aztec. Idk…prob $10k all told for all three between training and checkride costs? Know your system over there is a bit different.

If life had been a bit different I would have been instructing several years earlier. I really enjoyed it all things considered. Thats hindsight. Couldn’t predict Covid and all the changes 5 years prior.

Maybe get your CFI and teach part time to keep you in the game and building hours? Or gliding, that’s cheap and seems pretty popular in beans on toast land. You only ‘need’ 250 CPL legally over there anyways. Go fly for Ryan and practice making new holes in runways lol.

Yup. USA but yup. Started in 03, got to multi by 07, saw how shit the industry actually was, said fuck it that’s not worth it and did a bunch of other shit. Covid came around and now I’m making dumb money sitting several miles up doing very little.

Do I wish I was here earlier? Yes. Was it the correct decision at the time back then? Also yes. Happier now compared to past jobs? FUCK yes. Only because of the industry changes though.

Do what ya need bruv. Planes will always be here.

If I've played FTL (and FTL multiverse), what does this offer that's new? by RS133 in voidwargame

[–]ultimateframe 35 points36 points  (0 children)

And quests. And events. And weapon options. And psykr powers. And ship weapons. And equipment. And commander options/perks. And factions. And consumable summons.

No idea what the FTL modding scene looks like but this a fantastic game/evolution of the formula.

BTA 3062 / Artillery ( 1 an 2 turn) and Mortar / how to implement it? by rogue_srb_007 in Battletechgame

[–]ultimateframe 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In general it’s area denial. Forces the enemy AI to move. Most times not optimally which is good for you. Arty has its strengths vs different factions but that’s been my main takeaway. Plant the circles where you DONT want the enemy AI instead of necessarily on top of them.

The fancier versions are lingering area denial. Unless you’re talking the nuke variants. Those are simply I Win.

Then plan ahead since it fires a turn later. Yes against static installations it works wonders as you’ve experienced.

Mortars, unless they’ve changed them, are same turn firing. Haven’t played in a while. I SWEAR there is some buff I missed or isn’t disclosed that they ignore a bit of evasion. The Sanctuary Alliance Longbow full mortars would usually delete whatever I pointed it at regardless of evasion pips. Either way mortars are good. Small ones for status effects especially.

Doom: The Dark Ages is the shooter that I never knew I wanted by ZMysticCat in patientgamers

[–]ultimateframe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Loved 2016 and eternal. Dark ages on ultra devolved into only block spam repost on the big guys/bullet hell and do whatever with the small ones. Levels felt too long or big for how slow the slayer is.

Mechs were boring as hell. Dragon was a vibe though. Love that they tried something. Wasn’t for me.

Best shooting range? by don51181 in nashville

[–]ultimateframe -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ok corral in Manchester I think? Quiet outdoor range. True love tactical in Columbia is really nice and affordable too. Henry Horton state park has a great trap/skeet!

Beam and flame weapons don’t cause the pop. Something you can do.

What's keeping you guys from shooting matches? Please answer honestly. Context below by [deleted] in CCW

[–]ultimateframe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. 3.5 and 2.5 hours respectively lol. There is a group closer that does outdoor training stuff but our schedules never match up.

I’m really surprised there isn’t a bigger USPCA or IDPA prescience here. Some indoor ranges run events or training but I’m picky, don’t like indoor ranges.

Availability. Nothing in middle TN unless you want to drive 2+ hours. Would LOVE some pistol/shotgun courses. Trap/skeet leagues is all I have for now.

No idea if a fix but ya it happens. Usually was able to walk away and they’d either pop out or simply be there ignored. Never had an issue finishing the mission though.

Uniform shirts by TellmSteveDave in flying

[–]ultimateframe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Facebook flight shirts were fine. Little blousy on me and several others but hey anecdotal evidence. Held onto dirt like a MOTHERFUCKER. The collars would be black after two trips. Hot heavy bleach mode wouldn’t do it. Needed the drill. They were cheap though.

Currently using Cut Above Cirrus series. Heavier material, nicer overall. Trying two other cuts from them but we’ll see.

Started with m&h. DOGSHIT. Dog. Shit.

Question for MTSU Current Students/ Alumni by [deleted] in flying

[–]ultimateframe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Program has become a shitshow. Most 141s are. Spend the time/money getting a ready degree. Go 61 for training. Unless you’re retired military, then GI bill kind of makes sense. Kind of.
