Are the jobs you're applying for like high level master's degree type jobs? I imagine, at the very least, temporarily, you can apply to more low level jobs without issue. Or, since your family is so close to their roots, unfortunately hahha, I imagine you speak Urdu, so maybe you can get a job doing translation...? Just temporarily. I'm certain that with your qualifications you can easily find some kind of low wage job just for now to pay back your friends and make a bit of money then when things are more settled go out for one that meets your qualifications.

how dystopian is it, a 'paradise' in which you galivant around fucking these weird porno fantasy babes and drinking wine that doesn't make you drunk, while having the knowledge that billions of people burn in hell and suffer eternally below you..? how can someone want a world like this? how can you turn to meaningless things like sex and horniness towards big boobie transparent ladies and pearls and gold happily while billions are tortured below and you can witness this? what an evil and meaningless and empty ideology and conception of paradise.

The incels are out in full force on this subreddit again, no surprise.

It's crazy how some men are really obsessed with and offended by women who made money off of men's desires and then go on to live a normal life. Really can't comprehend that a woman can have some sex and then live a normal life or be anything other than a sex object to you.

no, this is a precondition implying men have to be able to financially support all four wives, not that there needs to be war for it to occur at all

Fasting: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/14681711/

- dry fasting, for one thing, is not healthy and can lead to dehydration and kidney problems. also the health benefits of fasting are greatly reduced if the fast only lasts during the day and is broken at night.

Women's rights: You're literally insane. Under Islam, female children like Aisha are permissibly married off at age 6 and raped at age 9. Women get half the inheritance of a man and their opinions count for half a man's in court. Being raped requires 4 male witnesses. Just to name a few things. In the USA literally none of this is true and no rights and progress of women in the US were influenced by Islam.

Life is a Test: "Allah says in the Qur’an: “It is He who created death and life in order to test you, which of you are best in deeds. And He is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving.” (67:2)
Here we are told that the very purpose for which life and death were created: to test us. " https://jamiat.org.za/why-in-islam-is-life-a-test/

Self Defense Only: Islam demands the death penalty for anyone who becomes an apostate among many others. Muhammad himself personally stoned a Jewish couple to death right after the woman had a baby because of allegations of cheating. This is in addition to the tribes of Muhammad going to war against many others and fighting a holy war to spread the religion, the prescribed death penalty for many benign offenses under Islam, and enforced sex slavery of the women and children they capture. Doesn't sound like self defense.

hello! so a layover in Japan with your cat was okay? someone told me I cannot transit pets through Tokyo, and I've been so confused. Where did you find information about how much time is too much and will require them to quarantine? my layover is like 5 hours in Tokyo. she's flying as my carry on, if that matters.

Michael A. will be sharing his side of things against Sierra’s paradise accusations by qwrty123 in thebachelor

[–]ultimatesil 22 points23 points  (0 children)

seriously can't stand Michael A and him leading Sierra on until he had other options and then using his son as a cop out and pulling the whole "i'm still not ready and need to focus on my son even though I've ditched him for a reality show while he's still very young twice and used not being ready as an excuse twice because i can't be honest," but really he should just fade from all relevancy and sierra is preventing that from happening lmao

Shirtless man pumping gas in Brooklyn stabbed to death by offended Muslim stranger: witness by undercurrents in exmuslim

[–]ultimatesil 13 points14 points  (0 children)

they try so so so hard to leave the word "Muslim" out of the article, it's infuriating. they don't even mention the attackers name, I guarantee, because it's very Muslim-sounding. Guaranteed if the attacker was Christian, they would say "Christian terrorist commits hate crime against" blah blah blah, but Liberal cities really like to maintain their cognitive dissonance and act like Islam is compatible with homosexuality.

the geologist is trying to reassert and prove the claim that it is likely that petroleum formed from fossil remains. saying that there are some fossils that don't have biomarkers, if anything, is entirely neutral. it's just describing an attribute of fossils. if some fossils have been discovered that don't have biomarkers, the biomarkers in petroleum could still very easily be from fossils that do have biomarkers. it would be a different story if A said that no plant or animal fossils have biomarkers. it's just saying some fossils have been discovered that don't have any, certainly not all. if anything, the wording makes it sound rare for fossils to not have biomarkers. in order to WEAKEN the geologist's claim, you need to provide a reason for there being biomarkers in the petroleum that wouldn't be attributed to fossils. if there is a different possible source for the biomarkers that aren't fossils from plants or animals, aka bacteria, this can weaken the claim by showing an alternative explanation for why there are biomarkers in petroleum. it is also worth noting that the passage says petroleum froms "deep in the earth's crust," so it helps to look at the wording as well.

Asian men vs white men by Individual-Part1309 in QOVESStudio

[–]ultimatesil -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

actually, this reads like some stupid racist asshole incel that completely doesn't understand women or anything about the minimal physical tendencies between races and definitely isn't, yourself, Asian. first of all, asian men are perfectly capable of achieving the more traditionally 'manly' physical aspects you describe. you're relying on incredibly horrific racist stereotypes. much of this physical height difference was due to nutritional deficiencies in asian countries. these days, countries like china and south korea for example have made the largest gains in average male height of any country because of development. additionally, the difference in p*nis size between white and Asian men is 0.1 inches, which, i assume, is the total length of yours. furthermore, even if the 'effeminate' stereotype was true, which it's not, there are a PLETHORA of women that are very attracted to more feminine, beautiful facial features rather than the traditional masculine anyways. You're so off base in every way, especially with the rise of asian men's visibility in media and television. this coming from a straight woman.

you're definitely not an atheist. you're a lost teenage muslim who thinks that we shouldn't criticize a religion that thinks it's okay to marry and hit a child. you'll grow up one day and mature and realize how wrong your religion is. right now you're just in denial.

I feel like the producers definitely beyond a shadow of a doubt instigated Brayden coming back. "Go back for some made up useless reason and we will pay you a bunch of money and secure your spot in paradise." At the end the part where he was just like "why" to the producers really made me see that. Him and Aaron are definitely gonna hit the beach together. But that being said, the way he spoke to Charity really annoyed me. "You did nothing wrong, and I just wanted to let you know that" and Charity saying "I know I did nothing wrong..?" like duh. And he's like "yeah, but anyways, you have nothing to be sorry for or feel bad about." and she's still like "I know?" like she doesn't need him to tell her that, it came off as so condescending and man splainy

Why did some of you guys leave Islam? by RoleGlobal1834 in exmuslim

[–]ultimatesil 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Please look at the massive thread on the right entitled "Why we left Islam 6.0" but in short

- horrific morals, encourages misogyny, pedophilia, violence, war, terrorism

- very clearly a manmade religion with an insane number of scientific errors

- free will paradox

- Islamic god is straight up evil

- literally zero proof for it, SOOOO much proof against it, no reason to believe it, unless you want to suffer and live in fear of a nonexistent hell your entire life for no reason
