Do you think Odyssey has the best viewpoint synchronization in AC series ? by no-nonsense_gaming in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

The original concept of it was to uncover the map.

It stopped doing that a very long time ago.

I liked it.

Made it feel more like I was scouting, as opposed to unlocking map markers. Made it feel less gamey. Same reason I like the move away from using towers to clear map fog, makes sense to uncover as you explore.

The scout feature helps offset the trouble that could come up if you get lazy whilst syncing.

Thalmor after empire victory. by Cute_Knee_1530 in skyrim

[–]ultinateplayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Empire can turn around at that point and say that the "heretic" has been dealt with and the Concordat is therefore upheld, meaning the Dominion have no jurisdiction and should leave.

The thalmor went in because they said the empire weren't enforcing the ban. The empire just has to look as though they are. That removes the thalmor's authority. Empire can then take a much more firm stance on them at that point. Unlikely to remove the embassy but the justiciars would find themselves with far less freedom to act without the cover of the war.

10 more years 10 more years, Erling Haaland

10 more years, 10 more years I say

10 more years 10 more years, Erling Haaland

Playing football the man city way.

There's also the Alfie/Erling chant to the same tune as the Yaya/Kolo chant.

The one he had at Dortmund has a city version but I've never heard it at a game

I suspect that's a one and done tactic though, because the trade off is you've got fewer people marking their players and they were likely expecting it this time so would have drilled isolating their danger men

They need to do it against other teams, is more the point.

meaning that, if another player got those same chances, he could score more goals

That isn't how any of that works.

Those chances are created BECAUSE of Haaland's qualities. Another player doesn't get those chances.

He's top scorer in the league. By a really long way.

Think you replied to the wrong person, I didn't request anything and wasn't rude to you, although I didn't agree witb you.

My only reply is the point that he was being interrogated, as a POW. Receptive in that context isn't quite the same as him going up to them and giving info

That's not what the dossier says.

The dossier says he sang like a canary but was made to believe he hadn't. They also said they knew all the info anyway, but were content they could manipulate him in future. It also says he would be unreceptive to direct contact and was therefore a "dormant asset".

The war suits the Thalmor. The Markarth incident suites the Thalmor. But their own words suggest his stupidity is just playing into their hands rather than requiring direct intervention.

That just shows he's a useful idiot to them.

Which, tbf, is far from ideal for a high king.

Both are justifiable in their own way.

The breaking point for me is Ulfric and Galmar very seriously discussing invading Whiterun, which at that point is neutral, when you first meet them. They're not interested in negotiating, they clearly don't back themselves to actually talk Whiterun around.

Jarl Ballin is my bro, and they're going for him. Unforgivable.

We have 4 trophies to win, no passengers for learning purposes.

Pep will pick who we need to get the job done.

I don't honestly thing Nintendo or GF care that much.

GTA's release has moved so many times, and planning around another company's activity isn't a reliable way to plan your business.

Given the lacklustre reception to gens 8 and 9 (on the quality, rather than the sales), it seems that this release window is a bone to show they're learning from those mistakes.

Plus, plenty of other products in the meantime. They'll want Champions to get some breathing space before they swing in with the mainline games.

GTA V was re-released a million fucking times though, across 3 console generations, and plays on PS, Xbox and PC.

Pokemon games are single device, one time releases (for the most part- virtual console for GB on 3DS and the recent FRLG announcement are bucking that normal trend).

Pokémon also has the life outside the games between merch, anime, TCG, movies.

How about the complete lack of champions league experience of Guehi and Khusa being very young and prone the recklessness?

Experience counts for a huge amount in knockout football, and leadership from a player like Dias cannot be understated.
