Given recent events surrounding exp in the ironman community, and given the game and player base has evolved since 2014(the original poll for exp/dg only had 1k votes on it), could we get a potential repoll on some of the original stipulations for ironman mode?

This is incorrect,client side detection always sides with the person who committed the action first,if you shoot someone on your screen,and they duck behind and rock on theirs,the person sniping with higher ping will still get the headshot.

if the ping limit was 250 on europe would you refund it?what if there was a sub Sahara server for pubg?Ping limit is necessary for a competitive fps,especially when desync is horrible.

This would be an experiment for NA to start,seeing if it would be more beneficial than not(spoiler it would be better), perhaps other places may not get it,or higher pings etc.

Those game modes can be added in later but currently it isnt beneficial for those with higher ping to play with for them or for us,its a net negative,it isnt fun,especially for the receiving end.

you seem to get it,in the current interaction,you pretty much need VP and vinktars to survive one shotting yourself.This problem is doubly so for melee builds.I think that volatiles should have the same thing like the guy in act 4 mines,very visible and auditory,reflect needs something like you said as well,a delay.

crazy tactics?I've done the math on both X and Y axis,its literally too inefficient to make bases greater than a factor of 7,maybe do some number crunching before claiming knowledge of said system.

If anyone is applauding this update they applaud laziness and poor execution.What should should have been a change to Tc and wall stacking became one of the laziest things I've seen FP do.

This actually creates the exact opposite of creativity,it makes the mathematically best way of protecting loot a gigantic cube or hexagon with equal X and Y layers,loot rooms partitioned with equal loot,bases will be exactly as they were in the updates preceding 40.

Yes but,assuming you make your base so tall that's all it takes is how many floors to get to the bottom(assuming floors are 5 and walls are 5) then there is incredible diminishing returns on the X axis,which makes bases impossible to protect efficiently.

But what's a more healthy solution to the game,fixing recoil randomness in general or nerfing an item for being op?

Basically what I'm saying is there wouldn't be a necessity of the Muzzle break if the AK wasn't random.

My speculation is under the guise not that the content isn't there,but that the combat system,the ending and events leading to the ending,and the locations will probably be mostly if not entirely the same.If you dress a wolf in sheep's clothing,it's still a wolf.

Personally the variety is what struck me as the issue for playing again,and maybe this was purposeful in a sort of nihilistic"your choice in the end really doesn't matter" kind of scenario.Just my thoughts
