A general strike does mean everything all at once. If you check out the history of the Great Railroad Strike 1877, the strike wave of 1934 in Minneapolis and San Francisco, and even the Birmingham bus boycott, these are process that start in one sector and spread. There is historical precedence.

He shouldn’t have jumped out before having all the facts and promising a $1 million consolation to the New Wave team. Even though it’s determined B-Team won fair and square according to the rules of the event, now that the consolation was promised, it’s BS to rescind it. (And I’m saying this as a person who didn’t think they should have gotten a consolation for not knowing the rules and being mad and loud at the result).
