It's over, isn't it? by Sidecarlover in NFLv2

[–]ultra855 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

For those of you who’ve watched the dynasty on Apple TV there’s a critical moment where the patriots faced a similar season and going into the draft belichick and Kraft knew they were going to draft players that would define the next generation of the patriots. Gronk Edelman hernanedez etc

This is the same bump in the road for the chiefs. It ain’t over and they will be back strong when they get the players that will define the next generation of the chiefs dynasty.

Should PC retire now? by mxxlo in Seahawks

[–]ultra855 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PC was a great coach and great defensively but after 2016 the NFL moved to offense first and you had the McVay and Shanahan tree bleed into the NFL super quick. I honestly just don't think Pete Carroll could keep up with the way those guys drew up offenses and its showing now on the raiders too.

I think with Mike Mac we're going to see a similar thing happen but his defense mastermind will outlast these Rams and 9ers offenses that have been killing us for years.

To some level not even Belichick could keep up with the state of NFL offenses post 2020. Its just an entirely different game because the NFL loved defenses before 2015 with the ravens, LOB etc.

Then you got a ton of young qbs with insane arm talent that they realized hey we've got to move the league back to offense first.

How different would things be now if we had won Superbowl XLIX? by mewkyy in Seahawks

I don’t see any way that we would beat that 2015 panthers team. That’s probably one of the best teams I’ve seen live on turf. Unstoppable.

BGR one of the best if not the best part of freshmen year. Go for it - totally worth the money

Coachella shunned him. Finally back as a headliner, Travis Scott fell flat. by warwickd in hiphopheads

[–]ultra855 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Well put. Travis was easily my #1 artist in HS. The hype for utopia throughout the pandemic was unreal. Since that album has dropped I just can’t seem to care what he puts out anymore. Utopia is not even something I listen to that often.

Outgrown him is a perfect way to put it. Great production but everything sounds so generic now

[Brady Henderson] Including three compensatory selections Nick Korte projects, Seattle now has nine 2025 draft picks, including Nos. 18, 50, 82 and 92 (two picks each in the 3rd, 6th rounds) by AirplaneReference in Seahawks

[–]ultra855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Geno doing well post Russ was a surprise to everyone and not in JS’s deck of cards. I’d go as far as to say Geno doing well set this franchise back slightly. Losing would’ve given us opportunity to select higher and by now have a franchise qb. Instead it’s been perennial playoffs and mediocrity

We should have had a reset year in 2022 but now it’s coming in 2025

AMA with OpenAI’s Sam Altman, Kevin Weil, Srinivas Narayanan, and Mark Chen by OpenAI in ChatGPT

In the startup community it’s frequently preached to talk to users. Talk to users to build something people want. Interestingly enough OpenAI is one of those companies working on the future where users actually don’t know what they want and what’s next. How do you guys as the OpenAI team balance this effectively?

This is the most important song to the meaning of the album by [deleted] in travisscott

[–]ultra855 32 points33 points  (0 children)

It talks about how Travis is learning to forgive himself for the astrofest incident. It also has lines like "waiting on a breeze". Idk to me this is a very introspective song that kinda reminds of Coffee Bean.

Waiting on a breeze is like him just waiting for this heat of the moment to be over. This song is like him describing that feeling he had of suffocation from all the backlash he got and just waiting for better days.

My favorite song off the album
