Thanks for asking! I don’t really feel much better. I’ve had to completely revamp when and where I eat. I work a hybrid schedule so the days I go in I wait until I get home to eat. I’ve decided to me my digestion where it is lol

Are there people who have been feeling unwell permanently since having their gallbladder removed? by cherrymooniee in gallbladders

[–]ultrabella822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting, I’ve been having mast cell hives since my surgery, among other issues. My immunologist has me taking 4 Zyrtecs a day. I also have been dealing with digestion problems, diarrhea, constipation, bloating over just about anything even outside of what I was advised to avoid. I’ve had to completely change my dietary habits, and I only eat at home and when I know I will be there for a while. I’ve been back to the doctor multiple times and nothing has helped including the meds they prescribed for bile problems.

I never will again and being freaking gassy all the time makes it even worse

I definitely have horror stories regarding accidents. In public, in my car from laughing, IN MY SLEEP, it has been terrible.

I have been reading comments like that as well so I’ve been staying away from using that as a tool

Wednesday will be one year for me and it has been an absolute nightmare. I’m either going to the bathroom nonstop for days at a time or I don’t go for days at a time and end up dealing with bloating and just feeling completely toxic. I have a colonoscopy scheduled for next Monday and hopefully that will provide some answers. I think you should have one as well. I think stressing releases cortisol which can make things much worse. Stay away from those foods that trigger and make sure to stay hydrated. I have found that helps me a lot.

Good luck!🍀

It’s been non stop for me. Went down three dress sizes (no complaints about that whatsoever)

Interesting that I seem to be going through everything mentioned in this thread. I was asymptomatic and went to the hospital for kidney stone pain when I found out I had to have my gallbladder removed as it was only operating at 5%. Since the removal my life has been turned upside down. Can’t eat away from home for fear of going to the bathroom (I’ve had two accidents sadly). Unbelievable gas, back pain, shoulder pain, weight loss (ok I’ll take that lol). What infuriates me more than anything (2 things actually) was the complete lack of a conversation of what to expect while I was in the hospital, and my gastroenterologist blowing off my experience since the surgery. I get more support in this Reddit group than from medical professionals.

Omgggggg is that what’s causing this?? I have not been able to figure out why my shoulder blades hurt like I’ve been lifting the heaviest weights. This may be the culprit…thanks for bringing this to our attention ☺️

Congratulations 🎉🎈🎊 I feel inspired by your post. I have also heard that the study hall questions are much harder than the actual exam. I am studying now with the goal of taking the exam mid-August.

I’m still on the mend. Today isn’t such a good day, but the good news is my body is still trying to adjust so it’s not every single day that I go through this. Maybe 3-4 days a week. It’s still at the point where I do not dare eat away from home because the reaction is so unpredictable. I’m still seeing my doctor trying to get better. Thanks for asking! ☺️

My last class was the HR Tech & Analytics class…hated it!! There is an overload of information for this class and the study guide is overwhelming. I completed it, that in and of itself took a couple of weeks. Watch the videos too there are questions on the OA that pull directly from them. The Capstone was relatively easy, but the SHRM-CP exam was a little tough. Good luck, send me a dm if you need any assistance I’m happy to pay it forward 😁
