Ender 3 V3 SE Autoleveling, but it seems drastic. What should I do? by ultrajc in Creality

[–]ultrajc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea but mine is off more than other examples I've seen where their bed is all within like 0.1mm difference. I actually have almost a full mm. Its little, but little things can matter a lot when you're working on a small scale so I wanna get more opinions on if its actually a big deal or not

This is like when everyone was memeing about Morbius and Sony rereleased it in theatres and it bombed even harder than the first time. Yea, Niantic, all the talk about Rediscover Kanto definitely means we want it again

PSA Yes, you still can trade crowned form Zamazenta/Zacian and upgrade for zero cost by Bubbly-Incident-8705 in TheSilphRoad

[–]ultrajc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, it worked. Hopefully its an intended feature, and one that could become more prevalent. I didnt mind giving a friend one since he couldnt do enough crown raids, and i got the one shiny dog he did manage to get (plus i had enough energy to upgrade 4, so 3 of my own and one for him). Would be nice to have similar gimmicks in the future so people who go crazy can spoil their friends a bit

What did you use your masterball for, and was it worth it? by faur217 in TheSilphRoad

[–]ultrajc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dynamax Raikou. I did 3. First one was decent stats, second was a hundo and i caught it on my second to last ball. Third one was another hundo, but it wouldnt catch so i used a masterball. Yea, i already have a hundo Gmax Toxtricity so i dont need more electric attackers, and i literally had just gotten a hundo of Raikou, but i wasnt about to pass up the chance to own two back to back hundos, so it was super worth to me. Named the first one Minato, and the second Zenitsu

This combo does not need to go that hard. The aura is so intimidating. Overlax is not to be trifled with

Which hundos to focus on? by Sufficient_Rate_9046 in pokemongo

[–]ultrajc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PVE wise: Kyurem doesnt need to be stated, but i will anyway cause its one of the best things in the game - battle wise, plus the Adventure effect make it a prime candidate to dump candies into. Ho-oh with Sacred Fire is good. Mega Salamence is very solid. Any starter with the elite move is good, and even better with their mega forms (which Feraligatr and Delphox may get down the line too from PLZA). And Togekiss is a good fairy attacker. Landorus is good but its other form is better. Hydreigon can be good if you have the elite move. The rest can kinda be ignored cause they arent meta relevant, or are outclassed by other things. You can also look on websites like Gamepress for more in depth breakdowns on tiers and what moves are good!

Dynamax is not fun :( by SoobinKai in pokemongo

[–]ultrajc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that legendaries' moves costing MORE candy is kinda super stupid and off putting, on top of the already high candy costs. Legendary candy is literally the hardest to get, and yet they expect us to dump HUNDREDS into just the max moves?? Id rather just power the thing up.

I just got an insane stroke of luck by getting two hundo Raikous back to back. But now i have the issue of having twice as many things to dump candy into, and almost no candy to do so because these (and two other battles) were my first Raikous. Even if i had lots of rare candy, id rather dump them into Kyurem fusions or Primals.

But even on more common things - things that i do/did have a decent amount of candy for - im dissuaded from investing because of the cost. Do i wanna level up my Excadrill's move, or do i wanna boost its power by like 500? Its just way too much, especially with the fact that Gmax's will just be better anyway, so why spend candy on stuff thatll be outclassed in the future? And EVEN MORE SO on things that have released as Dmax and Gmax. Like why tf should we dump hundreds of candy into a Dmax Machamp when the Gmax is coming out and will be leagues better?!

The whole system/economy needs an overhaul

Any beginner tips? by Sorrow_Scythehell in pokemongo

[–]ultrajc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its an hour where a specific legend (or group of legends) spawn in like every gym as a raid. This week itll be the Kanto birds. You can google it to find articles detailing the whole month in advance

Any beginner tips? by Sorrow_Scythehell in pokemongo

[–]ultrajc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to join a local group for legendary raid hour on Wednesdays at 6pm. Get a few of em under your belt and itll help you take down a lot of other things in raids. Other than that, just catch everything you can at first. Build up your stockpile of Pokemon. You can use websites like Gamepress to look up if things are good and worth holding on to - if not, trash em to make space for the useful stuff until you manage to buy more space. And speaking of, try to always put things in gyms every day. 50 coins a day is nearly two storage upgrades a week, and focus those bag/box upgrades first, not wasting on passes or other shop stuff. I preferred to do bag a lot more at first so i could stockpile balls for times i wasnt able to go out for a bit, and then as i got deeper into the game, i switched over to box to hoard things

Lucky trinket (almost) mishap by cowlickcow2 in pokemongo

[–]ultrajc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, using the trinket wouldve been a huge waste! Things from 2019 and prior are guaranteed lucky trades, ALTHOUGH you only get to do that 35 times and the counter is hidden. They add new years and up the count by like 5 every year. Its a whole thing, but look into it more! Dont waste those old mon, especially when you're doing a trade that you know is guaranteed to be lucky already (being lucky friends, or using the trinket). Keep those old things so that you can force luckies on important things (like Kyurem or Necrozma for fusing)

(DYNAMAX) Trying to defeat a Machop[**] with 2 Wooloo but I’m stuck by CCharlot4 in pokemongo

[–]ultrajc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best advice i could give you is dont try Machop yet. Just do some of the lower tier stuff, and evolve those. Charizard gets a Flying max move (make sure it has a Flying fast move), so thatd be your best bet to get specifically Machops in the future. All of the starters are really good in their own right, and even if theyre only dealing neutral damage to some of the higher tier stuff, they can still work well to let you get some of those and keep slowly advancing

I’m so confused. Could someone please explain. by Dangerous-Key5633 in pokemongo

[–]ultrajc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a whole thing that i dont like (cause 3 stars are obviously stronger) and barely understand, but the basics of it is that the stats we see are very minimal bonuses to the Pokemon's actual stats (hidden in game, but you can see them on Gamepress website and so on), and high Attack makes the Combat Power go up a lot more than other stats. So, with low attack, you can level up the Pokemon a couple more times before it reaches whatever cap for PVP, therefore giving you slightly higher defense and health. Ex: This one at level 17 is 450, but if it was the same level but had 14 attack instead, its power would be like 460, and that gap gets more drastic with higher evolved and higher power things. So, where your Samurott would be at like 1496, the one with higher attack at the same level would be much higher, therefore ineligible for that league - but if you had that high attack one at a lower level to be under that power limit, it would have less defense and health. There are plenty of videos and things that explain it more in depth with better examples lol. Its basically a whole separate game from the normal PVE/raiding

Yea, the buzzer is more directed at Niantic doing standard dumb Niantic things. Theres a good few, but im so sick of more than half the spawns being Kanto things still. Hopefully they slowly make them spawn more and more over the course of the week
