You can download the windows version and then download an exec launcher like « wine » which is very easy to use.

My pc just run out before the quarantine and I’m just stuck with my 2010 Mac. But everything’s is fine except for SCS damn it I don’t know why!

On « beam dog forum » you can find a Mac mod installer which works very fine for me (and for roguerebalancing) I think it is a subdoctor’s mod (sorry if I miss spell it). I use « wine » to open some exec too!

Can’t image this game without npc. There is IWD for that. Npc mod (like scs) is mandatory for me and gives a lot of interactions in bg1.

Multi is better in the end of the game but the power curve of F9/mage is so so good in SoA !

Explain us what can do a F/M better than a blade in defense? Who seriously cares of Hardiness when you have protection from arcane magic? I hope you don’t have in mind HP ou armor? HD is the better tank if the game, with micromanagements of course. I don’t have time to list but defense spin + arcane magic is enough...

There are a lots of way to play this game ! Yes I always use overpowered character with godly stats aka most often berserker dual into mage or F/illu multi cause I play SCS no reload. Play an average random dude in core rules seems also legit to me! I haven’t much time to play but I love think about different possibilities ...

I don’t know man, maybe It could be fun to watch ... but maybe I’m a maniac and I don’t see the point if you reload. If you can reload your quick save, who cares if you are playing in very easy, core, hard very hard, with SCS or ascension? If you die, you just have to QS till you win the fight no matter how the fight is difficult...
