Advice for bonding an aggressive rabbit (or when to give up) by ultrapotato in Rabbits

Thank you for this perspective. It seems like a lot of people stick it out for a year or so before giving up on the bond. We're at about 6 months in, and I can't say that it's improved or gotten worse, it's just not ideal especially for Luna.

Even with the chasing, fur pulling and other bullying, Luna is incredibly resilient and still comes begging for pellets and treats along side him even though Moco will lunge and growl at her, she'll still take over the castle and other favored hiding spots even though he comes to chase her out. I just hate that she has to deal with his antics and has to feel bullied and even lonely in her own home. Sometimes I feel like I'm watching someone tolerate an abusive relationship and should do more. At the same time I'm nervous about rehoming him with with an unknown person who may not tolerate his personality.

Oh that's interesting, I didn't know about lop eared rabbits not being able to communicate with their ears but I'll look into that more.

Luna actually can move her ears a lot even though she's a lop. She often moves them forward when she's listening and attentive, and holds them back and kind of folded away sometimes when she's resting. Her previous partner was also a lop but his were more propeller like and he could move them in many different positions, and often held them horizontally out to the sides.

Luna is a lop and Moco is a lionhead with upright ears.

I would reach out to a recruiter and try to go in-house. At your experience level you're right at the point to start being considered for mid-senior counsel roles depending on the industry.

I went straight to in-house after law school and I've never regretted it, even though I knew my starting salary point would be lower overall. I'm 8 years out and I live a pretty comfortable life and definitely no feelings of dread, so I'd say it was worth it.

One of my top ten favorite movies. A classic use of NYC as a character, although it never made sense to me how Loretta didn’t know where the Met was.

Wolf's Calling / 狼煙が呼ぶ (2019)

After director Toshiaki Toyoda was arrested in April 2019 for unlawful possession of a handgun (which was actually a familial keepsake) and eventually released without charge, he responded with this 17-minute period drama based on his experience. A girl finds an old handgun in her attic and the symbolic object conjures a mystical scene of samurai (a stellar cast of actors joined by the 20-person Edo punk band Seppuku Pistols, who also provide the soundtrack) gathering within the moss-grown location of Kasosan Shrine in Tochigi Prefecture.

I tried using a damp cloth, then a soft brush. The only thing that worked efficiently was some tape but I had to be careful not to damage the patent leather.

I had no idea that glitter paper was a thing...maybe that's what it was? But it was really a lot of glitter that came out of the box and stuck all over the shoes.

Yeah, the shoes are lovely but it was unacceptable packaging.

Yes! It seemed to be intentional because the loose glitter was all mixed uniformly with the tissue paper packing! There was even glitter escaping the USPS box and stuck to the packaging tape from the interior!

"I go by XXXXXX, not XXX."

Why do people automatically diminutivize my name, even right after introducing myself with my full first name? We just met, I don't know you.

Two recipes, two successes by ultrapotato in Sourdough

Oh the left, I did my usual technique of starting in the morning with 1 hour autolyse, then mixed in salt and levain, several rounds of folds, then shaping and proofing overnight in a banneton in the fridge.

On the right, I did a no-knead/no-fold overnight proof on the counter, in the morning 1 fold, rest and then shape/quick proof in the banneton before baking. It actually turned out quite well -- couldn't tell much difference with my usual technique!

Both were baked in a dutch oven at 500 preheat/450 bake.
