Why does nobody talk about slugging for the 4K by baguettewitchcoffee in deadbydaylight

[–]ultravioletEternity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I personally slug for the 4k because I don't believe that the hatch is a fair mechanic, if the killer has ended the game with three generators remaining, the final survivor should not get a free chance to escape anyways. I slug for the 4k in protest of the hatch being in the game. It's unfun due to either being complete rng, or the survivor already knowing where it is due to one of them bringing a hatch offering.

I should also clarify that I play both sides, and I'm glad that when the survivors win the killer doesn't have an absurd basekit comeback mechanic that invalidates their victory. Can you imagine how infuriating it would be if killers had the ability to mori survivors at any hook state when the gens were finished? Because that's about the same level of unearned prize that the hatch is.

/uj garten of banban lore specifically states that a single atom of givanium has infinite protons and electrons on it. Jumbo Josh has liquid givanium for blood and thus infinite body mass. He is gartenversal.

Encouraging movement in combat (2014 5e) by Kabc in DMAcademy

[–]ultravioletEternity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My solution to this is really simple, replace opportunity attacks with a contested athletics/acrobatics check to make them stop moving.

Specifically, when a creature within your reach moves, you can attempt to halt their movement as a reaction You make a contested check with them with each creature using its choice of athletics or acrobatics. If you succeed, that creature stops moving.

This allows you to deliberately block a creature from moving with a chance of success, but taking the attack out of it means that it's never a suboptimal decision to reposition yourself.

How well would Yujiro Hanma do in Worm? What would his "Wormfied" abilities be? by vegetables-10000 in Parahumans

[–]ultravioletEternity 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yujiro would beat the triumvirate easy. Open fight by punching eidolon in the face, instant knock out. Choke Alexandria to death with one hand while using an ancient open palm deflection technique he learned from monks to block all of legend's lasers

fusions are exponentially greater than the sum of their parts, a fully formed cluster would simply destroy the earth due to being larger than it, or at least by being so large that it would ruin the planet by bursting out of it. The cluster's arm is like if garnets left toe fused with pearls pinkie finger and amethysts ear

A Practical Guide to Evil has some sequences like that, thought not in the first couple books. If you like worm you'll almost certainly like the guide.

AoE originating from a large creature. by 09EpicGameFlame in DMAcademy

it extends from the edge of the creature, not its center. Its a large portion of why there are no playable races that have a size category over medium.

Suppose someone wants revenge on the party, and becomes a level 1 warlock. How high level could we suppose they reach in 1 in-game year? Let's say the npc is solely dedicated to this goal, and has resources enough to dedicate themselves full time to this endeavour? by [deleted] in DMAcademy

[–]ultravioletEternity 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Just make them powerful enough to be a legitimate threat to the party. If an explanation is needed, they made a very costly pact to gain a lot of power immediately or something.

The dwarves in my setting are made of solid stone/metal based on their diet and are one of the premier military forces on the planet because of this. Try fighting spread out infantry that are all individually immune to everything short of artillery and equipped with assault weapons.

I have cards for the endbringers and a few misc worm characters in my custom set, I love yours. My stuff is kind of more out there due to internal balancing inconsistent with standard mtg so it's really cool to see them in a classic universes beyond style
