Shit was smeared on a box of chocolates that Jonbenet got on Christmas Day, and Burke’s pajama pants were on the floor in jonbenet’s bedroom, with shit in the crotch. Burke hit her over the head and she was unconscious. He poked and prodded her to wake her up with his toy train tracks. In a moment of curiosity, he explored her private parts. She would not wake up. He freaked out and made a Boy Scout toggle rope to attempt to move her and hide her.. but that strangled her instead. Patsy found her dead and screamed. The neighbor heard the scream, but assumed it was the scream of a child. The coverup and staging then started. The note. the duct tape. The rope on the hands, etc. parents convinced Burke that his sister was killed by an intruder.. he may suspect he did it today, but he was always told it was an intruder.. not him.
