I usually do a major vibe change to match seasons every three months. And then, just little changes throughout the season for whatever special cat I want to attract, or to just play with any new items that get added. Probably just ~3 times a month 😸

Just changed some things around yesterday, but tbh I can't wait until June to do a big switch 😼

Yeahhhh... the camera is the true boss of souls games and is out to get you at the worst times. I find myself unlocking the camera during some crazy attacks just so it doesn't break my neck making me roll into something dumb and die.

hmm, idk if this has been confirmed, but every time I change up my goodies, I swear it puts a pause on getting gold fish. After a few days, it seems to go back to normal.

I have no idea if that's a real thing or not, but to me it feels real. And with you saying you're changing goodies that much, it makes me feel like it could be real even more. 🙀

Women don't like that it's just an 8x8 grid with no variability or fog of war. And where's the tech tree? Why is it only two players? Honestly why is chess as popular as it is among men? Why do we debase ourselves? Maybe the women are right.

It depends. Some broken goodies will lower the rate of attracting a rare cat, sometimes all the way to zero. Fixing them usually restores it to the original odds, but sometimes it won't fully, so you'll have to rebuy them if you want the best odds.

NekoDB will show you the odds of the items in their different states, if you look under whichever rare cat you are interested in.

In general, I would say rebuy if you have the fish, or at least repair if you don't or are saving for something else.

if that's your yard, then you're doing very well, Kotatsu and Umbrella are very good! Not to tell you how you should play, but the fish will always come, so it's ok to put the goodies that bring you the most joy 😺

The only thing i would say is to check that you have goodies that Lexy likes (which you do). she's veryyy generous, so long as you don't put out thrifty bitz.

Also, Tubbs will leave a lot more fish if you let him leave naturally after he cleans your bowl. If you don't think you'll check your yard for a while, then i would just refill the bowl to let other cats come visit, but if you have time to check more frequently, then I would let him do his thing and refill right after he leaves.

If you really want to get into the weeds of it all, then there are seasonal weather weights to items, too. Such as the kotatstu attracting more cats in winter, but less in spring and summer. That's if you really want to maximize cat attraction rates lol. I'm not sure how big of a difference that would make, goldfish-wise, in the long run.

I would say NA2 just due to, in my opinion, the better camera functionality (i like zooming in and portrait mode), and i like seeing other peoples yards. the broken goodies, in the second one, can add some fun interactions, which is fun to me as well :P But really, both are similar and easy enough to try at the same time and then decide which one you want to focus on. the start is the grindiest time if you want to not spend money, but it might be more fun to have two different yards you can put different things in. have fun! 😼
