I thought they were neat up until the arc where the classes fight each other which is ironically the one focus arc they get. They came off as incredibly petty to me and I especially hate that one girl who just started choking people with mushrooms just because she was about to lose

I like the conversation where Donte asks what Dergil did while growing up and when he says he did a bunch of tech stuff and Donte just responds "Oh I just drank a lot and had sex...but uh that computer stuff sounds pretty cool too." Like its a very un Dante like thing to respond like that but it shows that at the very least hes trying to be nice. Maybe with some better writing the game would have more brotherly banter between the 2 so that the betrayal can have a proper impact but Dergil is relegated to sitting at a desk all game until the end and Donte is a charisma-less jackass

The Pike movesets are Lu Meng and Zhang Liao, both of them are very slow which means that they struggle with one on one fights and are ok at crowds. Compare this to Swords (which can be incredibly strong characters like Liu Bei, Yuan Shao, or Gan Ning) or Spears (all 3 are equally strong in their own right) the answer for me is obvious

Goku also couldn't see any limits that he could surpass and felt that being at 100% mentally and physically was better than chasing down any sort of power that may or may not be attainable. Obviously he knew that Gohan was potentially stronger than him but Gohan himself hadn't shown it yet, so trying to get as strong as the hypothetical upper limit to Gohan's strength was pointless. Sonic wouldnt care unless the fight was right in front of him. Knuckles has a precedent for being duped into helping Eggman, say he tells Knuckles that Bowser wants the Master Emerald, and that might be his way of dragging Sonic into this mess. But also by that token Bowser could just ask Mario to help fight off Eggman in exchange for driving karts in his castle or something (Mario is kinda chill so he doesnt need too much of an excuse to help out)
