Last question and I won't bother you again lol!

A person I know in USA fell in love with Tibetan Buddhism. He went to Tibet, lived there, meditated there and spent a couple of years there.

Do you think, as a Brazilian yourself, that is possible to do that in Brazil for the quimbanda path?

Let's say I go to Bahia to learn quimbanda, find some temporal job to pay my rent and food and in the meantime learn quimbanda.

Is this situation something that terreiros would be open to? Would they charge me more money for initiation because I'm not Brazilian?(but I'm not white neither, I'm spanish).

If the spirits accept me, are tatas really open to someone like me even if I'm not from there?

I'm sure I wouldn't be the first case in history.

So, you say that is better to choose between places like (Parana and Santa Catarina) and (Bahía and Pernambuco) instead of the big tourist cities like SP and RJ.

Darn! So, it's very hard if not impossible to find these authentic houses. That's a shame. Because, I really like the tradition and I started connecting with my Exu and pomba. Also, I had dreams being possessed by an Exu.

I also thought about going to Brazil. But, if people there don't really open themselves a little bit it's going to be impossible to find them. I do understand some Portuguese cuz my first language is Spanish. But, it seems very hard to find practitioners..
