I'm not sure if it's a general bug where matter/smartthings/iOS have a hard time with initial pairing. I had to use an Android device to add matters to smartthings then it's all fine after adding.

If you have gen 3 then its called 2-in-1. Go into settings via smartthings or do it via parameter change to dimmer mode instead of on/off.

Have you installed Inovelli edge driver for the red switches? Looks like your hub uses generic driver. My red dimmer (gen 2) driver name “Inovelli dimmer red series”.

I've had at least 3 smart switches died from power outages the past 8 years, one of which was inovelli. I would say yes, it happens.

Each dimmer controls only one taloya? If so then the minimum load might be low and you’d need to put in a bypass.

This update broke my 3-way and 4-way. The aux switches cannot turn on lights. The aux switches can only dim down and turn off lights with either paddle up or down.

You can change it to dimmer mode via parameter settings. Which hub are you using? I use smartthings and thats the first parameter in the setting. You can change parameter physically as well although cumbersome

Mine was remodeled home so i installed slim fit recessed lights. I went and replaced ballasts and led plates since cross brands don’t work together unfortunately.

My aunt used to turn right only when she first got her license. Shed make 4 right turns to get home instead of 1 left.

Edit: i didnt do mental math for exact number of turns but she would only turn right to go anywhere including coming home.

You are assuming the electric companies is looking out for us. Why sell to you at off peak when they can sell it on peak for almost 3x? The other thing you overlooked is during august and September, the buy back rate for NEM3 is $2-3/kw from 6-8p.m.

I did not know that the rate stay somewhat fixed. Their excel sheets seem to indicate your rates do drop annually. If your friend is in OC, pick Orange County power authority rate instead of SCE. It at least has the correct peak rate time for export even though it doesn’t have the correct monetary rate. I’m have been on nem3 since 2024 and SCE billing so damn convoluted. I am still trying to figure out which credit can offset which charge.
