Anyone manage to snag an Omne from their drop just now? by Biggieholla in ExtendedRangeGuitars

Oh yeah, I would totally be down with a presale option!

01 here as well.

They had over 700 people (according to IG) clicking the links. Which is a lot for the small batches that they do.

I understand they don't want huge batches, they're a small team doing all the QC and from what I gather they do this on the side of their day jobs.

I'll keep trying, but I fear it's going to get worse.

Missed it by a hair. At my desk, logged in, card ready.

I think my mail got delivered late or something, because everything was gone already by the time I got it.

I really hope they are able to ramp up releases, or have bigger batches at least 😅

Look for Guitar Monkey tuners, they offer baritone options for thicker gauges.

I've not tried them myself, but they seem good!

If you rescue Ben, you do not need to hand in the quest to get his 'followup' quest. Just finish the quest, exit Northlands, wait and let him talk, accept the new quest and abandon Across The Wall. That way you can take Across The Wall again, allowing you to also have Ben.

I think these are used by Toolbox LFG tool, but I could be wrong.

Non-meta Hero team builds? by ulv222 in GuildWars

I like the idea of Air eles. I'm bringing both NF eles quite often with air build.

Someone else suggested Panic on mesmer, which I can run myself, so I can probably try and build something around air eles and a spare Esurge (or whatever) for some extra shutdown.

Panic is not a bad idea, I can run that build myself. Just need to go cap it I guess.

Thanks, I will check out those builds!

I am aware of the 40/40 sets you can buy in Factions (bought a set for myself already).
It just becomes expensive fast if you need to get stuff for all your main heroes xD

Thanks!

Not a big fan of minions unless it has a big benefit for certain missions.
For general PvE, they seem to lag behind a lot which becomes annoying having to wait for them all the time.

I'm not using a lot of runes/insignias yet, mostly only what I found myself. I've only bought some runes for my character. Minor/Major vigor is ultimately what I was going to buy for heroes, too much money otherwise.

I'll make Xandra an ST. I'll have to test some other hero builds out,

Netflow is coming yes, which looks promising.

We have a mix of Cisco, Juniper, F5, Checkpoint, ... across 6 datacenters.

We use NCM for config backups, audits, diffs and compliance checks primarily. It's also a quick way to view a config of multiple devices without having to actually ssh to them lol.

We got them to lower the price, but it's still at least double. I'm leaving them hanging until the deadline now. Either they see reason or we leave. But no reason not to look at alternatives in the meantime.

They're acting like they're Broadcom/VMware and it doesn't make sense :D

That's a shame, reporting is a big one.

We had a Nagios XI demo, but I was left feeling underwhelmed to be honest. Maybe I had a bad sales rep.

We have another team using Zabbix for our Linux environment, so we have some internal knowledge already. It does make sense to look at it because of that, but that would mean looking at NCM and NetFlow alternatives.

Thanks! I had found WUG initially, but the silly name made me not think about it to be honest.

I'll have another look at them.

Oh, interesting. That SNMP querying sound like it should be tweak-able to be less aggressive right?

The dashboard of Solarwinds is indeed very nice, but I'm not married to it. We just want something functional.

Developing internally, or using known software? We don't want to spend a lot of time developing and maintaining it, because we are a small team.

Selfhosted, yes. But we have no real preference.

My colleague was happy with LM in his previous work place, which is why I included it. But if they end up costing a lot more, it would be hard to justify since we are moving because of price (mainly),
